Replace Brunner with Tatar then. much cheaper I like these deals... Brunner is putting up blossoming prospect number but wants more money. That 3rd line is all home grown

Holland still wants a big forward and defenseman but none are in this free agent class. If someone like that becomes available from being bought out I'm sure he will be "kicking the tires" Nyquist, Brunner, Andersson and Tatar should all get a lot of minutes next year then we have tradeable pieces. Our prospects are finally just getting noticed around the NHL

We lost to Chicago because we weren't tough enough? I don't believe that and I don't think Holland does either thankfully. Having a full time fighter isn't going to change our team into Stanley cup winning team. I want to keep the Nyquist-Anders-Brunner line together having Helm center the line if he's healthy would be perfect but if Flip is not resigned I think Nyquist will move up. Also, we have to get Tatar playing in the NHL and not on the 4th line. I dont see where there is room for Sammy and Bert

Cleary is a good playoff guy to have on your roster. He was one of our most effective forwards. The problem is when you count on him to be scoring for our top 6. I have no problem with him as a bottom 6 guy.

I see Nyquist replacing Flippula. Bert retires. Buyout Sammy. Sign Cleary for dirt cheap Nyquist-Datsyuk-Franzen Clarkson-Zetta-Brunner Abby-Andersson-Tatar Cleary-Emmy-Miller Look to land big top 6 forward through trade we have a lot of expendable pieces

I think San Jose and LA were the two best teams all playoffs Hawks will have a tough time I think LA in 5 or 6

I say cut the fat and promote guys like Brunner and Nyquist to our top 6. I don't think Franzen is going anywhere let Tatar play on our third line. Much like our defense this year trial by fire it only benefits our young players
