Kronwall has been cabbage for 2 years now. Since Rafalski left he went from getting better each year to taking a giant leap backwards, then is awarded a huge contract. He just looks like he has terrible hockey sense. Maybe just from all the different coaches coming and going here

Kronwall has been brutal and is our highest paid defenseman. Ericsson just got back from injury and still isn't making mistakes over and over again like Kronwall. Ericsson doesn't stand out and make great flashy plays but he is steady and that's what we need.

The good thing about having Bert, Cleary and Sammy is that one of our young guys really have to outplay one of them to get their spot. Those guys will get scratched if there are more effective players on the roster. It creates competition in the bottom 6. Like with Lashoff, seems like Babcock liked the way he has played so when players come back from injury they will have to battle for their spot. Also, look at Emmerton. He looks like he is competing for his job. His skill set may be lacking somewhat but he is really battling to the best of his ability probably from fear of getting benched

People are just sheep and flock to bash on the same players that everybody else is bashing on. Franzen leads our team in scoring every year... Oh, but he's lazy. I think Flippula is great but when down by 1 in the last minutes of a game I rather have Franzen on the ice

Try watching the game without bias. Game 2 Franzen was our best forward. Flippula is a great back checker but he doesn't do too much to create offense and we need goals

Idiots saying the same tired bulls*** Franzen and Cleary are the only wings players crashing the net. Franzen isn't a great stick handler so he isn't going to be controlling the puck a lot in the offensive zone. Flippula is supposed to be our stick handler on that line and he just gets bullied to the outside every time with the puck. I love the guy and he works hard but Franzen is a much more effective player with our roster the way it is in this first 3 games

This team needs to start crashing the net and get some scramble goals like we always seem to get against us. This team can't play long puck possession in the offensive zone anymore. Direct everything at the goalie and crash the net that's the only time we have been successful offensively then it opens up room. Kronwall can never pull the trigger fast enough seems like

Nyquist was pretty ineffective last night... That second line is really weak. Didn't want to split up Z and Dats but I think the lines should be Brunner-Zetterberg-Franzen Flippula-Datsyuk-Cleary I admit that I'm not a huge Cleary fan but he throws everything at the net and looked pretty good last night. The line will be great along the boards and Cleary is a good screener. The defense just has to shoot!! We need more point shots
