Tootoo fights on his first shift

Ericsson officially out for today's game?
-
Blues aggressive style could have been beaten if wings knew how to pass the puck
-
Ericsson was our best defenseman last night. Get a grip. The kid has gotten better every year Kronwall on the other hand hasnt played a good game in 3 years but he has a big hit every 15 games so he's great
-
Having terrible PP and PK consistently every year is a coaching problem. Because Holland won't make Babcocks dream team doesn't give him an excuse to perform terribly with a middle of the pack team. Look at Dave Tippett he makes the most of what he's given no reason Babcock can't. A big reason we got shelled in the first round was coaching. He's been just rolling out the lines for three years now. There's no excuse for Quincey leading the team in ice time when he was being exposed over and over again and mistakes were costing direct goals.
-
I gotta say though, Babcock never prepared this team whatsoever and Quincey kept getting turned inside out and causing goals and he led the team in ice time that's bad ******* coaching no way around it. Not to mention our PP was some of the worst hockey I've ever witnessed and our PK has been a joke for 3 years.

Sammy can at least battle along the boards. He looked more useful on the top six than Brunner, Flippula and Franzen
-
I thought Ericsson was solid. When you play the entire game in your own zone mistakes will be made there's no way around it.

<blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="LeftWinger" data-cid="2342763" data-time="1358716406">
Ok, considering our D, last nights performance was no better than if we had three rookies in the lineup. I say lets get these rookies up here and get them established now...

Kronwall - White
Smith - Colaiacovo
Ouellet - Sproul

They cannot do any worse, and they would probably do better...

Ericsson was our best defenseman last night colo was brutal. If we wanna go by last nights performance better scratch Kronwall he gave no f***s last night When a team is completely out of sync, nobody is thinking fast enough to make a play and you don't make any adjustments while being dominated thoroughly you gotta blame the coaching staff a lot
-
Quincey played decent other than some huge mistakes that led to goals. If he can limit to one of those mistakes a night then he's an upgrade to Stuart. Ericsson was solid even though he was paired with Kronwall who was terrible.
-
Terrible game gotta blame coaching staff for not preparing them at all for a hard hitting team. I have always had blind faith in The coaching but the last three years we've had awful PK and PP and it lost us a lot of games. The team after 3 years hasn't realized that they're small and think of some sort of different gameplan when you play a team that likes to hit a lot.
-
One of the worst games I've ever seen the wings play. They look like they are thinking slow, just terrible reactions and reads nobody was in sync whatsoever. I know it's the first game and w/e but a lot of the blame should be on the coaching staff.
-
Kronwall just going through the motions
-
This drop pass to enter the zone on the pp never works
-
Kronwall hasn't played a good game in three years
-
Quincey, Cleary, and Colo all unbelievably bad
-
Cleary needs to be scratched he can't play hockey at all
-
I seriously hate Cleary so much he is completely useless
-
Tootoo fight after commercial break... Then Cleary will trip somehow
-
Franzen is finishing checks atleast he can't help that he's slow. Cleary is completely useless to this team
-
Blues running a lot of interference tho
-
Cleary still Cleary
-
Isn't eaves cleared to play now?
-
Ericsson and Kronwall on the #1 pairing is one of the things I'm most excited to see this season. Ericsson could potentially take a huge step forward and become a real top pairing defensemen can you imagine that?
