He's a competent 5/6 defensively but besides his speed, you don't see a lot of offensive upside to his game which is concerning at this point of his career. I think Babs makes him nervous. A guy with his skill set should be physical at least

Yeah he had a decent season for a 5/6 dman but at this point you expect a little more out of him. Look at Dekeseyer's growth

It's really a toss up between the two. Tough decision I believe both have the ability to get it done but I'm not overly confident in either goalie. Mrazek might be one of those guys that thrive in high pressure situations. Feel bad for Jimmy, he had a great season minus this last stretch but he hasn't been himself since his injury

Put Z and D together we have 1 trustworthy line that can play all situations. They were separated all year and Z managed to lead the team in points. They've played 3 games together and suddenly it's unthinkable to seperate them

They said Abby was skating today... Helm is the only one not skating due to a sickness

I think depth is a lot more important in the playoffs. We can throw out a third line that's an actual threat to score. The young guys have their most success with these lines as well

Yeah on paper it looks great but they didn't dominate against the canes or Habs. Z will look better with Abby back and Tatar will be better with Dats... Not to mention we actually will have a dangerous third now. Depth wins in the playoffs

I like splitting up Dats and Z. Yeah they've acored but they're not playing unbelievable or anything. Our center depth is one of the advantages we have over Tampa

people getting carried away with the Ericsson hate. He's actually been playing great lately

Ericsson is easily our 3rd sometimes 2nd best defensemen. Certainly miles better than Smith. I'd love to see how he would handle matching up against the leagues best night in night out
