Haven't played with any urgency lately. Hopefully we can actually try and push the play, and before we're down by 3 goals 3-1 Goal from the defense and PP. One empty netter

Our 4th line has had a serious drop off. They're taking penalties, our penalty killing has sucked and they're just surviving while out on the ice. Remember when we had one of the best looking 4th lines in the NHL. They used to own the puck and eat up minutes while creating energy. I really think this whole team is completely out of gas

Nyquist is still getting chances and creating. I don't hate Andersson like everyone else here I thought he had a decent game last night. I think Miller was our worst forward last night And Tatar looked hungover. Dekeseyer is having a real rough patch of games as well

He actually had a nice game tonight against the Panthers. His line was the only one getting chances. The way Miller is playing right now I say Andersson>Miller but Andersson is consistently worse then Miller most of the time. The whole team looks completely gassed and in need of a break. People act like Weiss isn't consistently one of our worst skaters when in the lineup while not being able to kill penalties/skate/play defense

We haven't once come across the blueline with speed. Terrible passing. Absolutely everything into their feet

idk the stats but it seems like 90 percent of Nyquists goals have come when playing with Zetterberg. Babs should realize nobody has scored as many goals for the red wings as Nyqvist the last two years, he's not depth scoring

Uggh Miller has not been himself lately. 3rd line has been good but I'd like to swap Nyquist with Cole

When he's playing well hes a great all round defensemen. Definitely a good #2 on any team

I imagine a blueline built of all around defenders in the style of Kronwall. I don't like the idea of a 7M/year Mile Green in our top 4

If we retain some money and/or take another crap contract off another team Weiss can be moved. Honestly Andersson=Weiss imo... Weiss has more playmaking abilities, Andersson is bigger and better defensively. That's how far this guys career has fallen. I don't know if it's injuries or he's just miserable but his career has taken a serious nosedive

Ugh ppl that don't understand how hockey works stare at goals per game and blame the offense. If we had NY's defense we'd be the highest scoring team in the league.... Our defense is not just below par it's absolutely awful

I'd like to see a regular on D be scratched for a game or two to see what happens. But with babs logic he'll sit our most stand out defensemen (Smith) I think all our shut down guys have been awful at their job as well. 4th line is atrocious. These guys are veteran defensive specialists and aren't getting the job done better to have some young guns on their if they can't keep the puck out of their net
