TSN: Flints Owner Nilsen relieved of his duties by David Branch
frankgrimes posted a topic in General
http://www.tsn.ca/firebirds-owner-suspended-after-firings-1.439721 Wow just wow what is wrong with this guy? I get it he is the owner but you still have to respect the labor law and the well being of your coaching stuff, players can't fire, rehire them all the time. If I were a player I would want out immediately, wonder how long Saarjajevi will put up with this crap. -

I hope you are right because this is a gongshow and doesn't help the players at all they are losing important develpment time here -
Yeah but that's what the Oilers are calling him. Also I won't expect Larkin to become as good as Toews, Pasha such high expectations are deemed to fail. I just hope he can develop at his own pace and a become a very good player for the Wings.

Whoever provided the NHL with that txt message should be help accountable teamwise, you either support nor teammate or don't get involved at all. I think the move is about getting his money back and of course to set a precedent to overrule the decisions of a commissioner.
-
How the hell did the NHL get his private txt message? I think appealing to an arbitrator is a smart move. because the guy is neutral and doesn't have a connection to either the NHL or the PA. Wideman will need to prepare a better defense for his cause that's for sure

There is nobody who comes close to a healthy Pasha in a game 7 on this team and to be fair this shouldn't be expected from a 18 year old rookie. Not even McJesus could coop with that sort of pressure.

http://www.tsn.ca/report-wild-fire-head-coach-yeo-1.437777 I think it's too late, Wild should have fired him last year. The only reason the team had any chance of making the playoffs was the unreal play of Dubynk whom I happy for. The Wild shouldn't be that bad, I wonder if Carlyle will be their next coach. Guy fits a defensive first system well and knows how to coach.

2017 Outdoor game rumored to be Red Wings at Toronto
frankgrimes replied to Crashnburnluder's topic in General
Next brilliant idea will be a game on the moon or desert. Why not have a year without the WC and then bring back with a new twist and fresh ideas, especially teams -
for the right price and length sure being him back but only if the Wings fail to improve the defense come July 1. I don't think any of the kids will amount too more than 3 pairing guys

Don't like the them I thought the killer whale one looked way better. But I'm in general not fond of written team names as a logo -
Congratulations magicman, such a special player

Funny, when Howard is having one of those it's always trade him now, he's lost it...bad of course if Mrazek is having a bad game it's he will bounce back. For the record I don't care who is in net, as long as whoever it is get's the job done and watching some highlights - missed the game because of VT - from last night he didn't. -
Flyers/Penguins Winter Classic 2011....I mean 2017
frankgrimes replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Same thing, this thing has been overdone and it's now past the saturation point. -
Exactly I would rather Jensen finally getting his chance. I doubt other of them will ever be a top 4 forward Jensen seems to have the most tools of this trio. Or maybe (which I'm hoping for), the Wings are starting to showcase some younger players to the other teams.
-
Exactly some things in life are just much more important than winning hockey games. I'm sure they aren't enjoying losing - pros are ultra competitive - but they're living a dream, are millionaires and their wives are enjoying it too so it's a win-win situation. Now I'm sure the players and maybe even Fletcher are on the clock.
-
Oh ok didn't know that best of luck to him, him and Suter are a great great pairing. Torchette is their new interim coach, Fletcher will reassess the situation in the off seasson

Flyers/Penguins Winter Classic 2011....I mean 2017
frankgrimes replied to Hockeytown0001's topic in General
Please no, sure give Toronto their Winter Classic but please against another team. The Wings have been involved almost every other year, it's just enough. The big house game will never be topped and my mind has been the best Winter Classic ever. But it's time to get some new teams into this thing. I mean how about the battle of Canada Leafs vs Senators? -
Of course now the focus will shift to the players, wonder if Brodin could become available

I've seen this posted in the All-Star thread butI think it deserves it's own thread because the ASG thread will be full with ASG talk saturday. http://www.theplayerstribune.com/a-guy-like-me/ Goes to show you what a bunch of mean spirited, disgusting idiots the NHL has in their front-office and what a SOB Don Maloney was in that whole situation. I hope the players help him score some goals as a big F U to the NHL. I'm also loving the phrase " a guy like me" - whatever people may think about John Scott and his role the fact is, he is one of 700 NHL players, period. If some suit wearing idiot would have told me on how to be a dad and what MY kids might be proud of I don't know if I would have responded as friendly as Scott did, so huge kudos to him. Smart and great guy NHL needs more John Scotts and less idiots in their headquarter.

At first I thought "D-Boz" = the boys in the boys in the AHL then I found out that some people seem to name Larkin "D-Boz"
-
Yes yes you should, well I don't know when you've bought it but you should be able to get your money back if it hasn't been longer than 2 weeks.
-
I would respond to them with an attachment showing a picture of account canceled
