I have always loved him. Great for him and the team that he's scoring some goals. Love his speed, size and grit. I also think the kid is pretty skilled....
-
I doubt that the Habs would trade him, especally when they are in the playoffs for once.
-
Im pretty sure those stats are old, he have added a few more pounds now. I belive He weights around 180-185 lbs now. Edit: http://www.hockeyligan.se/trupp/BIF/479 stats from this season. 82kgs, about 181 pounds.

We Need to Get Tougher to Play Against
Marxx71 replied to Bring Back The Bruise Bros's topic in General
What about Brian Boyle? I you just let me fantasise. Boyle did pretty well in the playoffs, he is big and heavy as h*ll. He already know Prust, and a 4th line with Prust-Boyle-Abby would sound pretty good to me. Is it just me or would it be good? -
Why isn't there any standing sections in the NHL, like the most teams got in the SEL. What do you think about standing sections? Do you think its good/bad? Do you think that only "hooligans" is in the standing sections, and do you even think that is bad? Some examples from the SEL: Supportergroup: Northpower Town Skellefteå - 35 000 people in the city. Team: Skellefteå AIK Arena: Skelleteå Kraft Arena - 6001 seats/standing go to 0:49 on this clipSupportergroup: Järnkaminerna Town: Stockholm - 1 000 000 Team: Djurgården IF Arena: Ericcson Globe about 13 000 seats. Second clip: Johannes hov about 8000 seats http://www.youtube.c...h?v=0AshSe0kcTQ I think that the sections are very important to the teams, and its a great feeling when your in a "cheer section". What do you think? Do you want it in the NHL?

I think the supporter culture in icehockey in Europ comes from the European Football/Soccer (or what ever you might call it) culture, and that's maby why it hasn't deploved in North America.

First About Dick Axelsson.. He WAS a really great player, but the latest season in MODO he was really bad. He has one great hockey-mind, good shoot, pretty good skating, but his pyshics is terrible. He pretty lazy and doesent work hard at all. He is also a bit un-serious when he plays. I think that Axelsson needs to get a bit of a challange. Something to work for, and a good traning program. I think he can be a 1st-line player in the SEL again, but NHL? Im sorry to say but i dont really think so. Mattias Bäckmans Linköping had a hard time in the SEL and dint make the playoffs. But i thinks he got potential, he plays simple in his own zone, and can even make some points:) Sorry for the late anwser, didnt see your post...

The Russians where at him all the game. Fun to see him trying to beat Malkin.

Illegal checking to the head is a serious problem in all hockey leagues. Its a good call by Shanahan.

He just recently won the Swedish Elite League playoff cup, with his team Brynäs IF in a game series against Skellefteå AIK that ended 4-2 to Brynäs. Skellefteå AIK is my home team so i've watched all the playoff games against Brynäs and i think i've seen all the regular season games as well. Järnkrok is very skilled, he can play as on the wing and in the PP-lineup he's a defensmen (Point) "controling" or "stearing"(You know what i mean) the play with is great hockey sense. Good puckcontroll ,stickhandling and that sort of stuff, good speed and movement in all the zones. BUT! I think it would take 2-3 years before he gets the chance in NHL. He is really weak, and he dives, ALOT. He whines a lot at the LinesMen and he is pretty afraid to go in to physical traffic. He is just a real p***y and i dont think i can handle the tough North American hockey in NHL or AHL. He have to spend more time eating and more time at the gym! But he got potential, and i hope i will see him in my favorite team (besides Skellefte AIK) Detroit Red Wings in a cuple of years! P.S if anyone wants to know anything a bout any Swedish Elite League player, just ask! Sorry for bad my English, native language is Swedish!
