I see a lot of Franzen bashing on here, I know he has his slow streaks but doesn't everybody? The guy scored 5 goals in a game against Ottawa! Give him some credit. Anyways, I think Semin would have been worth the chance for a 1 year opportunity and I don't feel that he would hurt the locker room. At least he would have boosted team morale.

Question. If you care so deeply about your franchise, why are you on our boards talking sh*t to Wings fans? Yeah, you cleaned our clocks in the 1st round, but you know what? Columbus could have taken us four games out of seven the way that we played. I admit we played like crap and I assure you, that upset was NOTHING to get your panties in a wad about. Predator fans act like they won the cup just because they knocked us out. Big whoop.

Zdeno Chara from the Bruins. I met him a couple times when he played for the Kentucky Thoroughblades of the AHL, I'm 6'3" and dude made me feel like a midget standing next to him lol. -

I meant that Holland should have taken the "shot" and threw Weber an offer sheet. He could have either signed it or crumpled up and tossed it in the trash but at least we could say we tried. I'd like that better than "no use even trying, he wouldn't have signed it anyways" you know? -

What does this mean? I don't quite follow... It irks me to hear people say "oh Detroit isn't the premier destination for people to want to go to anymore", I know just as well as you all that as soon as we win that next cup that will change again and all the Suters, Webers, and Doans can kiss our red and white asses. -
This sh*t is really starting to get old... I've held on to my patience but I'm getting ready to jump aboard the "Holland needs to sh*t or get off the pot" bandwagon. What good is it to bring up the young guys if the young guys are going to have confidence issues from dealing with stacked powerhouses? We need to sign Ryan now and/or as bad as I hate to say it, offer Semin a worthwhile deal! (I don't really want to see Semin on a red jersey...I couldn't help myself)
