It looked dirty as a mere result of Ballard's own actions and the result of the hit. If he had taken the hit (already passed up the puck) instead of spinning away and ducking down (why? Just why?) He would have been hit clean. In my opinion Ballard did it to himself. I hope he is ok though. -
