I don't think nestrasil should have been out for the shootout that was an obvious thing to me, should have been Tatar goose and sheahan or z. But I feel bad for the guy everyone was booing him when he came out for the shootout

I was at the game. All I have to say is JIMMY!!! Fyi I almost got the Jimmy Howard chant going a few times but people just weren't into I guess. Too many empty seats. Embarrassing.

I missed the part where we were all treated unfairly. Must have been between the wack of warnings mods give to let people know when they go off topic, before even considering locking a thread, or to let people know why they've deleted messages. If you want chaos to go unruled then you have already been given options. There are site rules, if you don't want to abide by the rules you will get punished. If you can't handle that, why are you here? That's like moving to another country and demanding they change their laws to suit what you had in your old country which clearly wasn't very good or you wouldn't have come to this country in the first place.

I like Tatar and all. But realistically he will be maybe a 50-60 point player, which is pretty good. But if you could get a giant dman for Tatar that could possibly put up similar numbers why wouldn't you?

Penalty for getting too close to a player, goalies are allowed to be slashed, shoved and hacked away at in order to score though. Refs cannot call penalties against Pittsburgh

But why failed, from everything I have seen and heard he has the same coaching style, has success at every level he's coached and he knows how to get the most out of his players.

I only have one. I must be a good boy I deserved it though. I let a few people get to me, didn't even pm the mods to complain either, cause I knew after a couple of my posts were deleted and I kept going that the hammer was coming down. I think of the mods like my parents. Every once in a while they need to take a wooden spoon to me, I can cry and get sent to my room, or just accept the punishment and go back to playing with the other kids.

You guys are right. Other sites are much more lenient. Which is why they suck. I actually think the mods do a great job of keeping things on topic and stopping things from getting out of hand. Sorry if you are butt hurt cause your Howard bashing thread was locked but seriously grow up. The mods usually join in on conversation and joke around, and sometimes they have to enforce forum rules. Go to hfboards if you want total anarchy

It's more or less consistency. If the ref would call a play like that in the second, why would he not call it in the last minute? If a penalty is a penalty at one point in the game why would time remaining be a factor in deciding if it's a penalty later. We've seen way too much of this, penalties being decided by who's leading the game, how much time is left, or when it should be offsetting penalties and only one guy gets the call. If they let calls like that borderline hook go all the time, that's one thing. When it's the end of the game or ot and they let it go because of time or because they may have called a penalty just before it really grinds my gears.

We could have predicted that a non wing brought in from the outside would be in babs doghouse to start the year though.

Right but if you live in Windsor or Michigan most games will be blacked out. Which is ridiculous considering the amount you pay for the package. You shouldn't have to find "illegal" ways around the blackouts, the games should all be viewable.
