What are you talking about? Two years ago he looked like our future goalie. Than his play drastically went into the sewers. So eventually they tried to trade him to no avail, then exposed him in the expansion draft and finally did trade him. Holland has been trying to get rid of him for 2 years. Problem is, no one except some people on this forum wanted him. -

It was Philly that got super lucky. They had the worst odds and got the second pick. Nj ended up like 5th worse so not a huge jump compared to Philly.

Bouchard is 6'2" 193 lbs. That's not undersized. Also don't forget that all our elite players were "undersized" -
I don't even think we have to retain salary. By then 2/3 of his cap will be paid so they'll only be taking on 2 million anyway.

Well I guess the eye test is more reliable than the scales the nhl uses. Also I'm not too worried about how mantha and frk do on boats, but on the ice is a different story

What they're doing is making an example of a player who has an important streak on the line but isn't a high profile player. They won't do something like this to Crosby or Kane or mcdavid
