It was 1993 when I decided to become a wings fan, I was 5 years old, and my dad was a leafs fan, so it created the perfect household rivalry, my uncle soon after bought me my first wings jersey, which i promptly covered in pizza grease at the red wings games lol. I always loved the dedication we had to winning while being very classy about it, I could never be a sharks fan, or a nucks fan, or a canadien fan for this exact reason. I support my wings through thick and thin, I've seen 4 cups, not something most people can say! LETS GO WINGS!!!

This exactly why he is such a highly touted prospect, because this is what he does. Everyone around here seems to go crazy when a rookie doesn't come out of the gate like a bat out of hell, and isn't our immediate saviour. Players take a little time to adjust and adapt to the NHL.

nyquist is very talented and nhl ready, the problem is, when you only get a couple games in the nhl at a time and they constantly move you around, you really don't get a chance to prove your worth, or get your feet wet. What we have seen the past few games, is what I believe to be the NHL Nyquist

nonono don't say that around here, it isn't because of him, it's because of the scouts that we have those players, but before he became gm when he was head of scouting, it was the gm who brought in the talent, not the scouts, or at least thats what the LGW gm's think

that is awful, it gives chicago an %88 chance to get the pres. trophy, even though pitts has one point less, and it basically goes in order of points from highest to lowest to see who will make playoffs. and apparently pitts and chicago are the only two teams with a chance at the cup....

babs actually prefers younger guys, he likes having vets on the team for leadership, but he prefers a younger team. You can only call up a few GR kids at a time, unless it is an emergency call up to fill a spot

when do I "smash" bertuzzi? I like bert, always have, and he served his purpose on the top two lines the last few years, now I think he is a third liner though, when healthy. I will give you Hudler, but you can't argue that he did score 25 goals last year. I have always been ok with Franzens style of play, and I believe he is a huge piece of our team
