You have no idea how badly I want this to happen... Ive got quite a bit of $$ banking on them missing the playoffs.

I'm going to be honest here and say that I really hope that Columbus does make that playoffs. not in our place of course, but I hope we keep the 7th spot and the Jackets knock out the Minny sisters. I know that Suter/ Parise just wanted to be with family and play together, but I'm still darn bitter over not coming here.

Darren Helm - flunked out But in actuality, I'll go with: Jordin Tootoo = B Lately, he's been doing some pretty good things with the puck, Time will only tell whether it be getting bounces, or some signs of promise as an instigator who can actually hold a roster spot. But he was brought in to BANG bodies, and he has excelled in doing that on and off the ice... if you know what I mean! (Sorry I just couldn't resist putting that in there.) He has done a good job making other teams give him space and opens up the ice when he's out there grindin.

That San Jose series when we were down 3-0 a couple years ago, he basically willed it to 7 games himself. We just couldnt score to save our playoff lives.

I mean, no one saw this coming; its unfortunate for both parties involved. If Sammy is bought out this summer, will a portion of his contract still count against the cap? Or does the definition of an amnesty buyout mean that there is no penalty?

I agree that we need to get what we can for him, because in all likeliness, he will be let go this summer and we'll lose him for nothing.
