Also in the interview before talking about the Wings, he had a pretty strange story about what happened in Columbus as well.

He was on the Spittin' Chiclets a few weeks ago and wow he is seriously salty. Refers to cutting a turd as "taking a Babcock". Says he can't stand the success the leafs are having because their coach is "not that good, yet will get all the credit". I like him, he's funny, but he needs to get over the fact that Babcock sat him because they didn't need him.

On the streak I thought these two were pretty interesting. Babs making him play in a system, and Bowman letting him be himself. Would have been interesting to see how his career would have turned out if he could have just played his game. The comments regarding just making the playoffs is eye opening. Basically admitting that the organization only cared about getting into the playoffs and not the real end goal of winning a cup. I disagree with him thinking they're going to change that mind set though. Playoff hockey means more money and "at the end of the day this is a business". I think until the Wings clean house and hire from outside it will continue to be their mindset.

I'm not totally sure on Witkowski's contract stipulations but that better not be handcuffing the team getting AA signed. We don't need that useless sack of potatoes on this team.
