Congrats to the Hawks. Would have loved to see Seidenberg winning his 2nd Cup but at least it brought me the second place in the LGW Bracket Challange. I'm really curious what would have been possible for the Wings if they won the series. Hopefully we will get the anwser next season.

According to Babs in the post-Chicacgo presser he is/was our 4th best player. But does he worth 5,5 Million for over 7 years ? Of course not. Only question is if this is just some kind of tactic to get as much money out of Holland as possible or if he's testing the market. I'd like to see him sign 4 to 4,5 for two years here but looking at our roster I doubt that it will happen.

I agree with Crymson. Signing a declining Briere while we're already having problems finding roster spots for the players we already have would be sheer madness (and not Sparta ).

Always wise to say that but the Penguins have, as expected, some serious problems with their D and Goalies right now. I don't think they'll come back. But seeing LA having that many problems against the Hawks let's the Red Wings effort even shine brighter.

Simply the greatest Team on earth to follow. Even though they unsurprisingly look a little bit tired and disappointed now. Edit : Did Cleary lost an eye ? His left one looks scary fixed in the video.

Completely understandable. I think were all not the greatest Hawks fans. I think we have many guys who stepped up this year, the young guys obviously but also Howard coming to his prime, Kronnwall and Ericsson not filling the great whole left by Lidstrom but being a worthy successor and a great No1 defensive pair. Not to forget Zetterbergs leadership. All that great questions marks before the season and it makes me very optimistic for our future. It looks bright for the next 2-3 years to come.

We simply don't know, people act different. My last opponent was simling too after he lost the fight against me. But back to topic : Without Mule we might have missed the playoffs and I, as many others here, think, that he puts up the Numbers which he is payed for. Tragic from tonight is if her buries is great chance in the third we are in the WCF and Mule is the hero of day. That he's frustrating to watch sometimes is also true but we wouldn't find a substitution for him at this price. Not to mention that we have other candidates to use the buy outs for.

San Jose - Would have given my right arm to see the Wings winning a playoffseries against this guys. Well at least lend it for a few hours. But there is hope we might see them in the Stanleycupfinals. If they can make it this far at last.

It's what you do when you when you are fair and Hawks deserve it. Coming back from a 3-1 and winning a game 7 in OT is something that you have to acknowledge as a great performance. That doesn't make the Wings performance worse. And it doesn't keep me from wishing the same winner like you in the WCF.

Congrats to the Blackhawks, but also to the Wings. What a season ending with a lucky OT-Goal in Game 7. I'm pretty exited to see what they can do next season with what is hopefully a stronger rooster. Let's GO Wings !
