Sounds nice. They have enough skill to pull off a passing game or, if need be they can also keep it simple and put Mule in additon to the front and let Kronner and Pav just shoot at a crease with 2 screens. I'm just hoping they practiced it before because putting a PP-Line together just for the most important game of the year might be a little bit risky.

Our guys always played their most effective hockey when they needed to. So I believe. Let's GO Wings ! Shoot the hawks out of their building ! Give Edzo something to mourn !

Beautiful. Thanks for posting this. Yesterday was bitter. Tomorrow won't be, if the refs do their jobs properly. We play a game 7 against a team who most of us, myself included, wouldn't dream of reaching it, let alone the realistic possibility to win it. My personal prediction at the beginning of the postseason was Hawks in 6. And I think of myself as an optimist. So I join you in being proud of the guys. Let's GO Wings !

Well thats a hard pill to swallow. It's easy to blame the refs but if we score after our second goal this game would look different. We didn't, so it wen't down. But time to look ahead. We still got one chance and if we this in Chicago it would be huge ! We can do this, our team has already proven in this very series. Momentum is now with the Hawks, but so is the pressure. We didn't play bad tonight so I still believe. Why not us ?

This. I was thinking about the Sharksgame during the whole the third. Let's see what we have : Two close periods, where the first could have gone either way and a admittedly bad third. Does it mean were done ? Of course not. The teams reaction may not, and I'm pretty confident it doesn't, show a lack of determination but a high level of confidence in winning our game at the Joe. And why not ? Did our Team start to blame the ref ? Nope. Did the they try to play dirty or frustrated like the Hawks ? Nope, in fact during the last seconds the Hawks looked more frustrated the we did when Keith took the penalty on Brunner. Did Howard broke ? Nope, he still looked confident after the 4th goal. Did Toews finally outplayed his shadow Zetterberg ? Nope, his coach just avoided the matchup. In my opinion we're not out of their head yet. They didn't outplayed us in the matchups where we beat them. If I was Toews my head wouldn't stop working on how to beat Zetterberg next game. If I was Quenville I would wonder how I avoid this matchup. Monday will be another challenge than the last game. If they can outplay us then we're in trouble. But not while we still have home ice advantage.

Alright, we lost. Next game is at home and will post in greater length what I think about this later/tomorrow. Just this for the moment : Another valuable lesson for our young guns and the Wings I saw this in this years playoffs didn't show up in period 3 for some reason. So I'm pretty optimistic about game 6. Good Night guys.

To be fair we had few chances by ourselves. Even with the pressure up at the beginning the Hawks didn't get many shots on goal let alone quality chances. Could be 1:0 Red Wings either so I'm quite optimistic they get it done in the remaining two periods.

Jep, Mule cooled off since the second or first game in Anaheim and is nearly invisible since then. I don't care, as long as he scores he GWG tonight.

Zetterberg would be great as well. But he might be too busy guarding Captain Calm....

Either the Hawks start to sit back or our guys were woken up by the goal the last few shifts. I honestly don't care just get two !

If it is I go with "subtile Inteference", "what a great play by the Hawks" and "what an amazing goal by Zetterberg" for tonight.

I'll once again repeat myself in saying : The longer we can keep them from scoring the more frustrated they will get. The pressure is on them, not us. Let's GO Wings !

The obvious one :

I remeber something from last night when Howard made one of his saves Pierre just asked : "...and what a great save by Howard, eh Eddy ?" And Edzo completly ignoring the question muttering something about a great play between two of his hawks. It was flat out hillarious. Have to add that I like Pierre during this series, most of the time his remarks hit the nail so to speak.

Jep, Wings just blew my Bracket-Challange prediction, Hawks in 6. Couldn't be happier about it.
