Isn't Byfuglien one of the cornerstones for the Jets ? I highly doubt they would trade him. If they don't plan to rebuild that is.

So what ? Does earning a title in a team sport make you better than those who haven't ? It may be but its far from mandatory. Take a look at Fleurys stats for example. They are just awful for a team with this rooster and standing. Luongo is exeptional one season, the other he is average at best, e.g. inconsistent as hell. Nothing you wan't on any position save from a goalie. You may have a point with Brzy though. You forget : He is the most overpaid Goalie in the AHL.

4-5 Million for 2-4 years would be fair. The most overpaid Goalies in League are Ward, Bryzgalov, Luongo and Fleury. I think Howard is slightly better than them.

According to Darren "The Face" Dreger the Red Wings placed McDonald on waivers. @DarrenDreger Looks like Mrazek stays a little longer until Gustavsson is healthy again.

If that is true I wouldn't mind having a guy like Seidenberg around. Only problem would be the price to pay. Right now Wings can not afford to give away the quality the Bruins would want for a #1 D-Man.

In my opinion you can't blame Howard or any other player in particular. I'ts the whole team that doesn't seem up to their usual level all season long. And who could actually blame them considering the non existing preseason and the injuries that piled up from the very beginning. Its just impossible to build some chemestry if you are forced to change the lines night after night. And while your oponnents does you will fall more and more behind. Its painful to watch but I would be very careful who I'd blame for this.

Last time I noticed him he was serving the "to many men"-Penalty wich lead to the only Blues Goal. There wasn't anything else to notice about him so far.
