Tuning in late. How did Mrazek so far ?

I think it's the right decision to bring him against a stronger Team like the Blues. If he were in goal against the Flames you could bet that some would have blamed him also. Losing against a stronger team will ease that risk, although he might get few more or more dangerous shots on his goal. But lets hope he can stand this and I wish him all the luck he needs to suceed.

I don't predict anythings since Mrazek is new and the Blues obiviously much stronger than the Flames. I just want our Rookie to have a good,solid first NHL-Game tonight and that the 3rd and 4th Lines and with them the whole team steps up. The rest isn't that important.

Setoguchis shootout skills. Ok that maybe a little bit hard. The Special-Teams are as good as this.

Season is short, so every chemistry build worth its playerweight in gold. And if those Lines produce like yesterday why should you break them ?

The good news is that we get better and better every game. Looks like it actually was the Lockout and the lack of preparation wich caused our problems. And as we are one of the oldest teams in the league : Old guys need their time to get going. Last night was the first night the Wings played like Wings I used to watch. It was great, it was fun but lets also not forget that it was against a tired team. Kronwall has to improve, but I'm quite certain that he will once he gets used to his new role. Cleary is a different matter. I'll go with Crymson on this : Once I liked him very much, the last games were just awful. But he had one Situation yesterday that made him look like in the old days when racing with a stars defenseman for the puck and nearly got a breakaway. That at least was a good effort you have to give him credit for. Tootoo and Brunner are both great acquisitions who fit perfectly in our rooster. Well done Wings and I'm looking forward for revenge against the Blues on Friday.

I don't agree. Lets wait antother five games and then another 10 and after that we get a glimpse what the team can archive. The Special-Teams had'nt enough time to prepare, so hadn't the players to get used to each other. And we have a long list of injuries so all this stated above gets even worse and makes things maybe even take longer. I agree that we canot be statisfied the way they played but it is also unfair to give final judgement to them after only 5 games.
