    Great, now I'm hungry and thirsty. Montreal keeps us pressured and trapped in our zone pretty good. We got lucky on two PP against were Ericsson saved a goal and one of the Habs players wasn't able to hit an open net. We got some rushes, don't play that bad but the Habs are the better team right now.

    Me too, and you're right, we always did. But the "switch" wasn't as powerful as last night during the second half of the second period. in past years I genuinely think the Wings just weren't able to play much better, due to system and some holes in the lineup. We weren't that strong but also not that young the past seasons, so I think a lot of our loss has something to do with the age and experience of some of our players.

    Games like last nights are probably the growing pains when you have a lot of young players on the team. Some (younger) players take the opponent too lightly and you lose against bottom feeders like the Hurricanes in todays NHL. Won't happen tonight, I predict great effort tonight from the players.

    It's refreshing to see a Red Wings D-man able to male the pass on the lead out and being a offensive thread from the blue line. The more I watch Green the more I'am aware how much we missed that type of player over the last years.
