Of course you're both right, bad officiating can have an impact. But bad officiating is never the reason a team loses. It's the team itself that is responsible for allowing refs to decide a games outcome. Thats what I wanted to say. -

I have no problem with our regular season pairings. Sure, Big E is forced to play one league above his abilities so to speak, but there is no way fixing this now. I don't think Smith would do any better. If DeKeyser and Quincy continue to play like they did so far in this series Tampa is in trouble with that second pairing. Third pairing will be the question and the answer depends very much of how Smith is playing. Tomorrow will be a character test for him. I'm confident he passes it.

The traningscamp next season will be exciting, for sure. Holmström, Bertuzzi, Mantha....looks like we have some fine power forwards coming up over the next few years.

Hawks in playoff mode, Preds defense without Weber and Rinne isn't looking very sharp. 2-4 Hawks already and it might very well get uglier for the Preds. -
