I take any lazy arse that is able to score 30+ goals. 30+ goals with help of the kind of quality that roster of the Maple Leafs can provide. Imagine the score with centers like Dats, Z, or Weiss.

I feel for Kessel. I can't understand how someone can sign for a team with the media Toronto has. I'd easily take 1-2 Millions less for not having to play in a city full of douchbag reporters. I'd take Kessel in a heartbeat, like that guy a lot, but it's the same as with van Riemsdyk. Never going to happen......

Hilarious writing and much truth in this one. Any team that has Bozak and Phaneuf as their best players is in big trouble. And don't believe a second Babs is taking over this trainwreck especially with the Wings on the upswing. This team is his and Hollands work. He won't leave it right when this work over the last years starts to bear fruit. I also don't think that any of the other Top-Coaches like McLean take over as long as Nonis is at the Helm. Shanahan has to restart this mess completely in my opinion.

You think Babs demands another overskilled, overpaid and underused 4th-liner ? I doubt the Leafs will part with van Riemsdyk, especially they won't trade him to a division rival. Would be great though, van Riemsdyk would be a natural fit for the Wings.
