Just read this. Eyeopening for me regarding Smiths performance so far.It talks about a few arguments already made here and bolsters them with a few statistcs. He was. Not only in numbers, he was also on the ice on Helms shorthander which might be one of the worst defensive plays I ever saw. It's their D that is the problem, not their goalie. Sounds familiar somehow..... -

Doesn't make a difference. If you play behind a D that allows a shorthander int the way the Leafs did you can be the next incarnation of Roy, Miller, Hasek (you name it) and you wouldn't be able to steal games for them. -
