I'm optimistic. The Wings play good against strong opponents usually. And if a bottle of 15y old Macallan doesn't do the job then nothing would. -

To be fair, Bishop is known for having a bad glove, thats probably why they tried it this way. But honestly you can't give such a pathetic perfomance. It has to be in their heads right now, Bert and Dats are so much better at this usually. -

Two more or less fluky goals, one by the Wings, one by Tampa Bay. Both goalies playing extremlx well. Lot's of turnovers in the first by the Wings, but since the Quincy goal (yes, our Kyle Quincy) it's pretty even with a slight edge for the Wings. Right now 45 sec. to go with a 2:00 Min for PP Tampa. Edit : Overtime. -

Bad first period, despite the goal and some shifts after that we are very lucky to lead and not trailing behind. The last few minutes were decent though, hope they keep that up. Faceoffs maybe the only thing Weiss lived up to the expectations by the way. -

And I wouldn't want to trade him yet. We are just 1/3 in his first season with the Wings and I simply refuse to believe that a player who scored around 50 points in every year of his career isn't able to produce this number in our system. Plus we still don't know if there is some kind of injury bothering him.
