Decent first period, Wings were arguably the better team but no great chances for them. On the other side a post by Seguin during a Dallas PP. Weiss getting better and better with two shots on goal. Otherwise nothing spectacular.

No wonder we are slow. We have a bunch of old veterans on our roster. Bert is even one of our faster one and even he is painfully slow compared to Tatar or Dats.

Defensive liability ? You can criticize Weiss for not scoring enough but he is damn good at passing and protecting the puck. He may not be the offensive powerhouse we all wanted (yet), but he is the opposite of a defensive liability.

Wow. What the hell is the Ref doing during the goalie-"fight" ? I do boxing and if my opponent or me don't even try to defend ourselfs properly the fight is broken up. Why ? Because its damn dangerous. I don't like fighting in hockey but I accept it as part of the sport. But this is way, way over the top. The NHL need to get rid of such assholes like Emry who apparently aren't able to control themselves or , much worse, don't care about the health of other players at all. And it's not just dangerous, it's an embarrassed for the League. Try to convince friends that Hockey is a great sport when s*** like this happens.

True, but you can't rely on defense completely. Look at Simth, Lashoff and to some extend Kindl and DeKeyser. Our D-Corps is excellent but also very young and they will make mistakes from time to time. Our Veterans have to step up at the offense and score the goals our D will give up.

Although they won I'm not satisfied with the last win. Wings need to find a way to get the offense going. Here's another chance and I hope our lines start to build some chemistry.

Solid win. But with the exception of our third line we still need be faster and score more goals.

Obviously Santa made an early appearance in form of our defense at this first goal but otherwise we didn't look bad. Great energy, good passing. "Just" have to bury the puck.

Smith is looking surprisingly good so far.Had a few good shots and made decent plays at the end of that PK.
