Not sure if your lines just serve as placeholders or are legit what you're thinking but Sheahan on second line is a crime. I'd much rather (and I believe Baldy Blash too) would put AA or Abby on there and bring Sheahan down to 4th. Our top 4 defenseman actually look pretty decent to be honest.

Definitely lol. Not as bad as NFL or MLB though. At least Hockey is a major Winter Olympic sport. I'd say the only sport that's popular in the US that is popular around the entire world is Basketball.

Cholowski is not going to be here in a year or two. Also he's not taking anything away from Sproul. He's taking a top 3-ish spot of which Sproul is neither. Hicketts isn't coming in this year or next. Plus if either of Hickets or Cholowski miraculously make it next year. We no longer have Mike Green. Think of Daley as Mike Greens replacement after next year. It's really not as bad as you think.

Abdelkader kills penalties, fights, throws the most amount of hits on the team. Tatar fights so much and the penalty killing he does is almost Datsyukian level. And don't get me started on the hits he throws. $5.5 million is overpaying. Should be getting Nyquist money nothing more. Nyquist scored 25+ goals two seasons in a row and still got under $5 million from Holland.

That's what I mean, if he's signing vets and trying to get into playoffs then it doesn't look like he's rebuilding, not in the traditional sense. Looks like he's trying to upgrade to be a competitor. All depends on what the contract is.
