Franzen was our best PK'er in the 08 playoffs aside from Zetterberg. Now if you mean post injury Franzen then yeah.. the guy was more of a floater. But he still scored so oh well. I think Mantha shoulda been in but guess we'll see how Jurco plays tonight.

To be honest I'd rather have us be in a comfortable position and get into playoffs than go through this nervous wreck. It would be one thing if our talent clicked like they did in 2013... Now THAT was a fun year to watch... Zet, Dats and Howard were absolutely dominating with 4 or 5 games left. We needed to win like 4 games to get in and we did it beautifully. Such an epic finish... And then we upset Anaheim.. even more epic!

Most likely cause Helene annoyed the hell out of him by asking him the same question in 5 different ways. I mean like he was legit pissed in the interview - I've never seen him that way. Once you go desktop you can't go back to laptop. I owned a gaming laptop when I was in undergrad - gamed on it and took it to school for school work etc. Then I graduated and built my own PC that summer and holy s*** is it a different world with desktop gaming.

He was on and off basically. Which might have been ok a month ago but likely not with 5 games left. I said it before- had this situation been earlier in the season I would not have minded Mrazek just riding it out. But with 5 games left Blash could no longer gamble and had to go with the "slightly" more consistent goalie.
