Andersson has been more useful to us lately. Not sure how or why he suddenly is, but he's simply doing good enough. -- Larkin - Zetterbrg - Abby Zetterberg - Datsyuk - Abby Nyquist - Zetterberg - Abby Tatar - Datsyuk - Helm So many combos possible and they're all very good and proven to be effective. Excited to see what Blash does in a couple weeks here.

What I like about Byfgulien is that he doesn't give a s*** who you are. If you're in the goalies house or the defenses house then you're going to pay. A lot like Vladdy was.

Ahhh yes all the pieces are falling in place. Muhaha. With McDavid injured this opens the door for Larkin to win the Calder. Lakin wins Calder Wings win the Stanley cup Datsyuk gets his cup before he's done. Blashil wins as a rookie coach. Git er done.

I'm just annoyed by my Canadian friends/co-workers acting like some miracle is bound to happen with Babs and somehow the loss of Babs is the end of our playoff streak. Well i hope the Leafs crumble further and this whole Babcock 50 million deal turns into a joke.

Colorado Avalance 2013 season record 16-25-7 Patrick Roy hired as rookie head coach and the following year. Colorado Avalance 2013-2014 season record 52-22-8. If Babcock is the best coach in all of hockey then he should at the very least be able to better Toronto a tiny bit than last year. If Patrick Roy can do what he did then Babcock has zero excuses imo.

Right. In order to really assess if Babcock is ALL that good. Imo if he coached Team Latvia and won the Gold medal that would be a better indication of how elite he is. Which brings us back to our original topic of discussion guys. Babcock coached a stack roster in Detroit when he won the Stanley Cup. He is now coaching a s*** team and by all accounts, the best coach in all of hockey should NOT be phased by this.

Jeez if Babs was still our coach I feel like I'd be more inclined to defend him. You're right there dickiedunn Give me Crosby, Toews, Stamkos, Bergeron, Seguin, Benn, Corey Perry, Tavares, Giroux, Rick Nash, Doughty, Weber, Pk Subban, Duncan Keith on one team and I bet I could win the world cup next year. I swear I think I could do it.

I think what he meant to say was - It's easier to win the Gold medal coaching a CANADIAN roster than it is with an NHL team. I can't really think of any national team besides Sweden that can compete against Team Canada. It's usually a sure shot to win it coaching Canada these days. Regardless of whether your name is Babcock, Quenneville, Roy, Monkey, Batman, Wonder woman.

Quineville's gotten eliminated by Detroit in the playoffs 5 times. I'm not arguing for or against his coaching. Just a random statistic I kind of found funny.

McDavid and Larkin are much better than Mantha. Mantha needs further development, McDavid and Larkin do not. Your response to zombo doesn't apply.
