Hit or punch? hit practicaly includes anyone on ice. McGrattan isnt just anyone on ice.
-
Hardly, the two seem like complete opposites.

I thought Semin is sweet..
-
I may have been half serious on that post. But you are right, Green on top line defeats the purpose of his use.

Best 4th line potential in the NHL
-
Kronwall - Green Dekeyser - Quincey Marchenko/Smith - Ericsson We keep our best pairing (D and Q). Ericsson plays on third pair where he's less likely to make errors. Smith would be his offensive compliment. Kronwall and Green just raise havoc on top line. EVERYBODY WINS

McGrattan made me believe it was butter

Brian McGrattan fought Chuck Norris once. And killed him.

Too bad thats mrazeks number now -
True. But then again Hull played in a different era and roster. In this era, a 200 foot game brings forth a huge advantage. There's not many players that can pull off the whole one dimensional game thing.. The only player we see pull this off these days is a guy like Ovechkin. But Ovie is a big, big man that can find space to take his shot. I think Pulk shud continue to improve his defensive game. Just my opinion. There's no reason not too either. Remember that Yzerman improved his defensive game under Bowman and eventually won a Selke. He literally went from a one dimensional player to a two dimensional player in the 90s.

Signed Gustav Nyquist signed 4-Year Deal $4.75 mill AAV

Getting rid of Ericsson makes our Defense that much smaller. To be honest, that's not the right direction to head playing in the Eastern conference. We already have a tough time against teams like Ottawa and Montreal. Q would probably get moved first. You mean next year? Because that's not happening this year. -

Yes if we look at current performance. But he's just entering prime so he very well could produce much higher when hes 27 and still on current contract, that's when it will look like a steal. All assumption of course. -
Great prediction Close. And I am pleased with 4.75 for 4 rather than 2 was I was thinking Good call
-
Did you read my post. Or kliqs? No one here is arguing about Tatar's performance last year.

Holland is on a streak, 4.75 for a player entering prime? This will be a major steal in hindsight if nyquist can keep up his goal scoring and get used to playoff hockey. Upwards of 5 mill and 6 million my a** -
Does Jamie Benn count Guy that knocked out Lucic. Dalton Prout is okay. Cody McLeod on Avs can throw. 19 fights this past season. But meh, hockey has been pusif!ed, most of them suck. So not sure Tangradi really helps. Big body I guess..

Kid on back, Cup in hands, cigar in mouth. #25 -
Twilight zone? Here I feel like I'm in an elementary school for the dyslexic. BTW I've been thinking about making a username Nyuist>TatarByALongShot just for this thread, maybe that's all we need. I kid people, I kid. 4 mill/year 2 years sticking to it.

2 consecutive seasons of 27+ goals is not the same as one 27+ season goal like Tatar had, who had only 19 goals the season before that. Technically he has the right to ask for much more than Tatar because hes established a longer track record. Its good for him but not so good for cap reasons. Thats why most of us here are hoping he doesn't push for too much and asks a fair deal.

Nah Smith is going to be 'prime' miraculously under Blashill this season.
-
Yeah but his sample size is small for games played doesn't that affect it
