Nyquist value would be pretty decent. The guy is useless in the playoffs, two years in a row proves it. You can be a season scorer but if you can't play at the playoff level as a 25 year old entering into your prime, you're not cut out for it.

Z need a legitimate winger, Nyquist is god awful, the only goal he scored this series came from a wide open net.

The article was written before the game basically calling Johnson a champ. Johnson got shutdown and they lost pretty badly and my initial consensus was it's funny to read the article postgame. Ever heard of Hingsight bias? I'm sure the writer who wrote it felt it last night. It was very ironic that they come out with it only a few hours later the Red Wings shunned all the preconceived notions addressed in the article. The article was addressing Johnson's ability to help his teams win in the past. That's fine and great but to say "he knows how to win" is a poor choice of words for the writer. And if you've played a team sport in your life then you know that it IS about winning the series and the championship. An individual accomplishment is great but it has no bearing unless it's applied to the team effort. This isn't a boxing match. This is a team sport. You either walk away as champions together or walk away as a team that lost in the process. Henrik Zetterberg said it best. "It's great to get into the playoffs, but that what WE want to do is win" Regardless, you're just wasting your time. I don't know what you're going to gain out of starting this. It actually hasn't been a one on one matchup, the whole team has been checking Stamkos. Although Pav's line is mostly facing Stamkos, if you watch closely, every single player out there is targeting Stamkos. Some names specifically are, Quincey, Glendening, Nyquist to name a few . It's been a team effort and they're doing an excellent job. I was surprised Nyquist wasn't penalized for his back check on Stammer yesterday not sure if anyone else saw that. This is what I meant by Babcock's superior coaching earlier. He's been rotating guys and confusing the hell out of Cooper. At one point you had Johnson against Glendening, at another point it was Zetterberg, then at another point it was Datsyuk. He's been strategizing well with the shutdown. Quick line changes on away arena can go a long way.

Babcock is outcoaching the hell out of Cooper. A testament to why he needs to stay. Our roster isn't as good as it's performing against a team like Tampa.
