    2 on 1. Though if it was Howard I'm fairly confident someone would've called it soft or that he didn't bail the team out, and I'm definitely no Howard fan at this point. No, Tatar did.

    Oh boy, more awful officiating. Ericcson hooked before the goal by Tavares and now Green called for interference because Clutterbuck crashed the net.

    Completely agree with that Tatar, Sheahan, Jurco line. That's one of the few lines I've seen on this team that just has some unreal chemistry.

    First time I've ever turned off a game because of the officiating. I refuse to watch that nonsense. I know the Wings' pp is bad and it probably wouldn't have changed the outcome anyway, but I'm not going to subject myself to that frustration. Pathetic. Edit: also, I've lost quite a bit of faith in Howard. I've always thought he was a good goalie, but he just can't seem to bail the team out lately.

    While I would also like to see Larkin get shootout attempts, going with Richards makes sense. His percentage is pretty good and he scored in his last attempt for us. Larkin is unproven, who knows if he's even good at shootouts.

    Great game. Bummer about the loss, especially considering how many times I have to see 5 hole goals in the shoot out lead to a Wings loss, but I think they played really well. Dominated OT.

    Gudas gave Helm no where to go and he still did everything he could to avoid the crease. Call is fine in my opinion. You can even see his glove reset before the shot.

    What? I don't know. I agree Ericcson has been terrible lately. Quincey I'm willing to give a pass on as he hasn't played the game in a million years. I was just saying Smith is just now starting to play the way we hoped and he should focus on continuing to improve, not pull an angsty Drouin move.

    Man Howard looked small there for some reason. Not saying it's his fault by any means but there just looked like there was a lot of open net. If I'm Brendan Smith I try to focus on continuing to play good finally.
