His ability to allow five hole goals is astounding. Did you catch the post game interview with Oshie? He said he wasn't even planning on shooting five hole but "saw something there." -

Honestly it looks like his hands just aren't as quick. They're still crazy smooth and his hand eye coordination is excellent, but he used to score a lot of backhand forehand or vice versa goals with a speedy transition. He needs to start trying to come it at angles and weave a bit. -

Don't blame Jimmy on that shootout loss. I don't think many were stopping that Kuznetsov shot and the Wings still needed to pot at least one. Wings had their chance to win in OT. Glad they at least got a point. -

The fourth line needs Helm and Datsyuk needs someone with hands (Jurco). Edit: I say this mostly hoping for a change on the fourth, as they are being hemmed in badly. -

Completely agree. I'm not sure how much of a factor this is, but in my opinion Larkin has a greater impact on his team's success than Panarin. Not to take anything away from what Panarin is doing. -
Right not we've got two goalies I'm extremely confident in, can't be happier with the situation. Neither are going to be perfect or great all the time, but hopefully they alternate their slumps.

Part of this game and last. I don't think it was the set plan, I think it was situational. Like starting the period with a minute left so you know you're going to only get one unit out there anyway, might as well load up. -

They've actually had them on the same pp unit a few times now. I can't think of another way to jump start the PP either, but so far it still hasn't looked good to me. -

Amazing that some people have still found ways to complain after such a dominant win. Great fight with a Wing standing up for himself? They're soft. Beat a decent team in Arizona, a crappy team in Buffalo, and good teams like LA and Tampa? They suck. We lose to bottom feeders and "this team sucks because they can't beat bottom feeders", we win against them and it's "wow we beat a crappy team, big deal." Can never please the haters.
