Probably my favorite non-wing. Seems like a classy dude off the ice and plays a real well rounded game. Though I do get irrationally infuriated every time he hits a Wing. -
Agree, I've been thinking this for a while. We get the lead, become passive and try to chip the puck to center for the remaining 40 minutes and consequently become overwhelmed. I think we have to start trying to keep our foot on the pedal and go for extending the lead rather than be content winning 2-1 or 1-0. Our defense isn't good enough to expect low scoring goals against all the time. And the kids are obviously capable of scoring.

Well I'm glad we at least got one point out of it. Smith really flashing his potential again the last couple games. Kindl on the other hand should be given up on at this point. OT aside did anyone see those horrible passes? Kept leading people who had no momentum by like 15 feet.

He looked like he lost consciousness to me. He went totally limp. Thought for sure he had a concussion. I also thought when he got checked from behind earlier on the year he'd be out a lot longer. -

I really wonder what Glendenning does to piss people off so bad. He must be the greatest s*** talker ever. And I think if Legwand's spear (albeit super stupid) warrants 5 and a game, then so does obviously dirty player Neal's crosscheck to the head. Edit: and if I recall he gave him a pretty good slash right before he went for the headshot. -

Aside from that obviously terrible pass in that game, I thought he had a pretty good night otherwise. Was jumping in and keeping the play alive in the offensive zone really well. And I can't remember the last time I raged at him before that pass yesterday. So I think he's been solid lately. -

Exactly this. He's obviously got the potential with that shot, and I love how he indicated where he wanted a pass to go on the PP where he finally got to rip some. He definitely looked like someone playing his first game though, anxious to show what he could do. -
I'm tired of seeing the wings get run into the boards non stop. Highlights of my night were that ****** getting called for diving and Franzen running someone over.

Horrible all around. Team looked like it wasn't even trying and two of those goals Howard let in I think he should've saved. So I'm not blaming this one on any one person, it's the teams fault today.

He's not Lidstrom therefore he is terrible. But no I do think he is a solid number 1. His play lately though has made me a sad panda.
