Hey Red Wings Fans, I want to say I'm Pavel Datsyuk's biggest fan - but then I thought I may be threatened...so I will just say I'm a huge fan! Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any videos of Datsyuk doing this drill in a practice: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnRcNgFYP6w I heard he does it a lot, but haven't been able to find a video of it. Please share ANY and ALL Pavel Datsyuk practice videos here - I know me and a lot of my friends want to see the type of work Pasha puts in to get his magical handles.

I don't know if I would have the leading 2013 NHL season points getter (St. Louis) as the extra forward. He's been I would actually be surprised if they split up Louis and Stammer. In the past 7 years, Louis has been top 6 in points 4 times (1st, 18th, 2nd, 6th, 16th, 14th, and 5th). It will be interesting if they want to take Kunitz as well...I would think not though,

100% agree. Crawford is outstanding. One of the few goalies who Datsyuk can't score on in the shootout. Bergeron is deadly in all areas of the game. The team looks UNBELIEVABLE!!! Gold again!

I think the obvious option is Pasha, Zette, and Bertuzzi... Zetteberg's SO% isn't very good. Datsyuk's is tops in the league which is obvious, and Bertuzzi is actually quite good percentage wise. Nyquist and Tatar both have phenomenal hands though. Or we can always try to trade back for our old shootout savant...Juri Hudler *laughs at own joke. Just sign this guy up - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ppk2Dlxyg14

Although CBC quotes Datsyuk as saying he loves playing with Abdelkater, I'm not sure if Datsyuk would ever say he hated to play with a certain player - more importantly I don't think there are many players that wouldn't play well with the magician. Abdelkater is a very basic player which can be a very good thing for players like Z and Dats who use their hands and flash to get results. It is so valuable to have a player who goes hard crashing and banging to win the puck for the soft handed ones.

I would say yes to Datsyuk - though his point totals wouldn't warrant a number being retired, there is no doubt that the hockey world and Detroit as an organization are taking notice to the little things he does that make him arguably the best in the world today. The things they don't have stats for. Pasha carries that "Chuck Norris" like vibe with him, making it very difficult not to have his number retired. Simply put, I could not see another Detroit player coming along in the next decade and wearing #13...the shoes are just too big to fill

Expectations are very high for next season. With young defensemen like Smith Dekeyser and Lashoff blooming tremendously with the confidence of hard nosed coach Mike Babcock, I am pretty confident in their chances - though I still think they desperately need to sign a veteran defensemen who can log a lot of minutes with consistency and poise in the back. Very excited to see Alfy Datsyuk and Zetteberg though. I hope they get on a line!!!

The hands on Jonathon Drouin are just filthy - just watched a video of him on YouTube and looked over his stats from the past year and he's got that "man playing against boys" vibe to him... Lightning are lucky to have him, and I predict he will do big things for them (as well as being a regular on the highlight reels)

KHL! I was afraid that Datsyuk was going to retire this year after Elliot Friedman said he may go back to the KHL next year because he had so much fun - I wonder if Kovy had the same thoughts...
