Our offense doesn't have to be great, because our defense is effing amazing for some reason.(the line of top 5 picks has to help) But Megatron's been playing hurt, get him and reggie healthy and the offense will be fine... Its a completely different offense, they say it usually takes three years to fully transition to a new scheme.

Babcock has to like the direction of the young kids moving forward. And he has his heart and soul guys here, I'm just wondering what kind of expansion of his power they can offer him since they resigned Holland, especially since the whole power struggle for the roster thing came up(which I don't believe is anywhere near as volatile as its been twisted) but when guys like Roy have the control he does, you have to think babs will want something more. The only team I'm worried about him leaving for is the pens.

as much as we (myself included) get tired of the over ripe thing, it seems like its kinda showing with Jurco.He's so skilled, but needs a bit more time to settle down. He does so many things well though that he's ready for the NHL, just his confidence and scoring. Which i think will come, especially since he's been playing in our second line.

I know they won't buy him out, simply because having his cap hit would still suck. But his value is as low as its ever been, and he has a no trade clause.

Hopefully its a sign they over valued what they had in their young goalies, and he doesn't have a bounce back statement game.
