No.I'd believe those yokels are either faking it at the request of the network to keep their show on the air. Those people are so dumb though, that if they did find it I don't think they'd understand what they were seeing. Tpbm thinks all these "reality" shows make the world a less intelligent place, and wishes they would all get canceled and that the networks would issue an apology for them. Ha.

And of course they'd keep the pick and draft Mathews over chychrun, to run Mcdavid, Draisaitl, Nugent-Hopkins, and Mathews down the middle.

I honestly think Pavel is still getting back into the flow of the game.Taking it somewhat easy on himself while slowly testing the limits of his surgically repaired ankle. He showed a few flashes of his old skating speed when Larkin was on his line. As for his stick handling I think he's just trying to keep stuff simple while he gets back into game shape. He was unable to skate full go for almost six months, and he still has only played a handful of games. Its gonna take a little time, But hes been looking better and better.(with the exception of tonight, but alot of our players had less than great games today) And zs in one of his slumps again, remember last year when he came back and everybody was saying he's done, He can't play center anymore, he fell off etc.etc.? Hes had these slumps all his career, but he had been injured so often, and when he came back he started producing right away that we forgot all about them. Also. I really hope they keep Jurco on Pavs line, yeah he didn't look to great today, but one game after all he missed isn't giving him a legitimate shot.

I'm only going to quote this one, but the post you made in response to me earlier in the thread was spot on dude.The only thing is we seem to be able to develop forwards amazingly well, especially compared to developing defenseman. So I think we have a better chance at developing someone into a number one c, than we do a number one d. That's the only reason Id consider trading Larkin for someone like OEL or ekblad, which I'd still be hesitant to do, and i doubt Florida or az would do it anyway. But we really didnt do much development with Larkin, he did it all on his own, which is what makes it so special. We don't pick high enough to get players of his calibur, and when we do they're damaged goods in some aspects.(compete level, or another skill that's not at a high level) that we have to teach them. Larkin's a very, very special player. I said it last year when he was tearing up the ncaa, He's our next captain. And the potential of having our captains and assistant captains all from Michigan in the future is so damn cool. I have a feeling he's not going to be asking for backup money.Maybe not 5-6mill yet, but I could see him taking a one/two year deal at around 4mill on a team with a good defense that won't leave high and dry like Toronto does. Then he'll ask for the big money. If we got rid of Howard, I would be fine with getting him here on a one year "show me what you really are outside of the Toronto dumpster fire" deal around 2mill. He's a lot better than he looks a lot of the time over there, he just really doesn't get much help. I also have a feeling babs will try to keep him for some reason.

I think we can talk to Winnipeg and if the trade talks are progressing enough to where a deal could happen, im pretty sure they can give us permission to talk to him/his agent for contract discussion purposes.I'm not 100% on that, but I think that's how it works.

I want Larkin to be better offensively than Toews.But i don't expect it, if he becomes a 60-70pt selke caliber defensive forward I'll be ecstatic. But I want him to be a 90-110 pt selke caliber center. That would make me happy.

Lions looked good, but how much of that is Detroit actually playing well and how much is the eagles being downright awful is unclear. Chip kellys attempt at putting an nfl team together (he's coach AND gm) is turning out to be hilariously bad.

I feel the same way.He does have a hearing tomorrow, so we'll see what comes of it, but if they ever have an epidemic with tragedy related to cte/concussions like the NFL has been dealing with they're going to change real quick. Also, on the NFL concussion/CTE topic, I keep seeing stuff about that concussion movie with will smith that says it's scathing towards the NFL. I hope it brings more awareness/outrage to where the NHL will feel some heat to crack down on these types of things before anymore tragic happenings occur. Shanny seemed like he was doing a terrible job as the head of the DoPS, but compared to this guy he was damn near perfect.

Agreed.I want to say that I'd be surprised If he doesn't get a suspension because of it, but the DoPS is such a joke right now that nothing shocks with them anymore. So I'll just say I'll be disappointed if they don't suspend him. A $2,000 fine is nothing to these guys and doesn't discourage it at all. Larkin is amazing and exceeding expectstions, but I wish he'd take less penalties. It seems like he's in the box at least once every game.

Ahh.I didn't realize the game was over, but I'm glad he was back. That looked like it could've been ugly, especially with his concussion history. Dubinsky only got two minutes for it, think he'll get suspended or fined?

I think pulks is worth way more than a third round pick.

Also, from the same game. Brandon Dubinsky breaks his stick cross checking Crosby in the back of the head/kneck. Crosby left the game, haven't heard if he'll be back or not. For obvious reasons, I don't like Crosby, but this is absolutely disgusting on the part of Dubinsky. Malkin also fought Jack Johnson.
