I've been watching quite a bit of franson tape lately because I expected us to sign him, and from what I've seen Franson is way too slow..,He's somewhat physical in that he hits a lot, but he puts himself out of position with his hits and doesn't have the foot speed to recover... If we ended up getting rid of Quincey and kindl(not going to happen) I dont even think ehroff would be worth the risk for the bottom pair, he's shown he can put up points, but he can't stay healthy, and he isn't the pmd he once was. Imagine how awful it would have looked had he accepted our contract offer last year. He'd be a huge question mark for the next few years.

Sorias about to be gone too. I'm not familiar with any of the guys we got back for price, but apparently Norris is an amazing prospect. -

Hockey was only better for me back then because of the wings dominance, ha.Honestly, I imagine they'll be fine with it, because it'll open up new ways to study film, new awareness of what you're doing right and wrong, and how to fix it. I think it'll help the game. Its cool if you don't though, all the new stats do get crazy, but my opinion is, i just dont see how it could negatively effect the quality of the game. And yeah. Ha. The holtby deal is good for both sides.

Frank, Hockeys going to move further and further away from the eye test and more and more into advanced stats, its just how its going. Look at the micro chips they tested in the jerseys last asg, those are going to be the norm very soon. Its kind of cool, all the data that well get from it, but scouts will always have a place. Its just one of the new things.

Grammer is grate. My nieces left their minion toys from McDonalds happy meals at my house, and they giggle when I friggin cough.... Which is terrifying at 3 a.m.

Remaing RFAs to be signed - Jurco, Pulkkinen, Aubry

Even if he doesn't light up the scoresheet, a big, physical, fast kid whos defensively responsible and can still bring a good amount of skill to the bottom six isn't a bad thing. -

The jerk is here for two more years. -
He just got bought out, so basically all he has to do is sign one year deals for a bit over a mill and he'll basically be making 6m a year. And on one year deals he scores a bunch of points, Cuz it motivates him to actually play.

If the habs are a contender, hell be fine. Its when his team is sh***ing the bed he seems to not care. As long as he doesn't know/learn French, he won't be able to understand them.

signed Pulkkinen re-signs.... 1 year deal

I'm kind of in the same line of thinking as you, out of our glut of winger prospects the last few years, he's the one I have the lowest expectations for just because his skill set seems like it was built for the NHL 15-20 years ago, I'm unsure of how well he's going to be able to perform at the NHL level, but I still really like him a lot, and I'm glad he's getting his chance. He did actually decent in the defensive end in his limited showings, and he threw a real nice hip check that broke up a transition into our end. He has the ability to be realgud, but he's not a defensive stalwart, he's not fast or big enough to be a checker, so its scoring line or nothing. Which is kind of good, since we roll three scoring lines, I'm just wary of him. He has put on a good bit of muscle the last few years though, his shoulders are pretty damn built, I just hope his lower body comes along the same way. -

No ones talked about the kardashians, there's not enough women, and none of us are dressed flamboyantly enough. We'll get there someday though. -

I thought he was already home when they called him back for his surgery? Hence why it was done so late... Honestly. Its hard to follow the stuff involving Russia, because the translations never seem to make full sense. I read one where it said something about leaches, which I didn't know was still a thing.
