If there are any prospective new member wondering whether to join, or even to those who've found problems with the moderators, i figured I'd share my experience here... I've been posting for a couple years now, and I've been respectful to the mods and they've been respectful to me. I've never once gotten no response when I asked them a question, if I had a concern and I messaged any of them, not once was I ignored, or made to feel like my opinion was below them. If you have a suggestion for how to improve the site, and you messaged a mod with it, I guarantee any of them would forward it to matt and respond to you personally... Most of them would probably try to hash it out and expound the idea with you. From my perspective, There really doesn't need to be hostility about it, because any problems you have can be solved by talking rationally, which I've found a lot of people have a hard time doing...if you can logically explain your concern, do so. That's all I've seen asked in this thread and it doesn't seem to be catching on.

Wait.Weren't ratings up quite a bit last year. And the seahawks are a super team now, because they draft really well and had a pro bowl quarterback making under 1m dollars. Once his contract kicks in they'll lose some of their depth... And the patriots are an anomaly, bill belichik is a wizard, and they constantly cheat. Plus tom Brady is probably the best quarterback the leagues ever seen, so that also doesn't really apply. Plus. The blackhawks are basically a dynasty, the kings could have been another one had they bought out Richards before last season and used that money to bolster their lineup... So we kind of have super teams.

I think the important thing is to think what will happen when he is moved to grand rapids, I know frk was regularly pushed to the echl last year, and we've re-signed all the other vets down there, with dylark, and lil bert there for sure now, who else needs a spot there... turgeon? Ehn? Callahan, Ferraro? Would him coming in supplant anyone we need developing there? And cleary will probably be a pretty damn good player there, he's broken down, but he's still much more talented than most of the vets there, where will he play, and who'll get pushed down. I think this has run its course. If the handshake thing is true, than paying him the wage of a scout ala draper or maltby would be a lot less than he would've made in philly.Unless you wanna upset the pay grade and give him 10x what the other guys made their first years.

The wings, and the wings designated reporters need to stop running their mouths about this handshake deal thing... If it was anyone other than Dan cleary, the NHL would be on them for collusion/cap circumvention. If the 3yr deal with philly was real, you'd think phillys f.o. would be pissed about this enough to try to make it a problem. Then again, the whole pronger situation may have kept them from throwing a fit. This whole handshake agreement thing kind of lends credibility to the offer being a real though, despite what philly has said publicly.

I'd be happy with waiving Andersson anyway.
