It´s told (from reliable source) there´re major issues in locker room with guys like Duchene or MacKinnon. The team is falling apart. Seems like these will be traded, sooner than later. Avs to rub the bottom couple next years.

I´d glad to see this as a final change, but I believe this one has more to do with his 5-0-0 against Preds, or better to say - with their offensive setup. That team has pretty weak offensive, only minimum of diagonal passes or arround-the-crease combos. I believe he was doing the same as against Isles, maybe was taking care a little bit with his dizzy moves. It´s going to be way different against Bus with their agile and quick moving offensive.

Btw., I thought Howie was sent to GR stint, but not in the crease..

My guess: optimistic: no sooner than 22/23 - Lark/Man/AA/XO, Sproul, Svech will fit top roster structures and another 4-5 emerging players (Smith, Holmstrom, Saarijarvi etc.) will make that roster till 20/21 with top9(FW)/top4(D) production. realistic: 24/25 - only 1-2 of list above will be real top6 players for contending team, maybe one another (Smith, Svech?), one or two guys we can develop from current/next year drafts.

I don´t want to defend him, but actually I believe he really do understand youngsters development path. In the other hand, he´s obviously struggling with executing his own plan and strategy and/or space he needs for this plan. What´s given by gm in this team. Well, his north-2-south roster moves, Mantha, AA, this is obviously working, since AA returned from bottom, he´s playing his season top, I mean, also trying to work something in his d-zone and I do expect Mantha to spend like 2-3 games in bottom to get back. But it means he has 2 roster spots to play his own ´making a development´ game with??!?!? I believe he has to follow some kind of template, like ´one top + one bottom guy is what you can play with, the rest is by default´ or what, is maybe just a fanta sea.

OT lines per Blash are crap. He´s trying to survive 5 minutes with Abdelkader, Sheahan, these players are no match against players like Marchand. Why do you put DD in, Jeff? Just tell me why. Jensen is last 10 games our WAY best puck moving D in our own zone and you put Danny ´easy easy to beat´ instead. .. And once again, the same point as the last time with Sabres - Danny should spent whole post-season in gym, working out himself hard.

I believe we´ve got to wait till TDL and re-signs, one single move could easily change the whole scenario. I´ve been playing that capfriendly game several times (there are some funny auto-protect picks, like Wings exposing AA, or Ducks exposing Silfverberg) and it´s really not so easy. But what I´ve mentioned there - most critical point for LV will be to get twenty players signed for 17/18. I believe they will be pickng ´not the best´ options sometimes to keep option to grab other players w/o contract. Anyway, Wings aren´t in the worst situation, let´s see Pens with goalies (unless MAF gets traded), or Jets with their D. This is going to be completely new team, I´d not be surprised, if aiming for Kroner or other similar veterans with 2-3 years in term.

Hudler is well known here, he started with profi hockey few miles from my home (I can remember his first professional game in Czech league, he was so small standing next to Zabransky, Dopita, Cechmanek, Jaskin sr. , lol, ) and I believe it´s similar example. Jiri is in a fact good guy, friendly and honest (meh, not with media, but this is another story), but not someone who you could expect to drive the team, or to be the leader. I believe Wings management is expecting top 6 not to be only productive, but also to be leaders and guys like Tatar or Hudler are far away from real leadership roles. Yes, if traded, expect he can make 70-80pts+ season somewhere else, he´s entering his prime, got a s***load of talent, but don´t expect he will lead Wings through the valleye of dead. If I can see Larkin, guy playing his sophomore, with Sheahan etc., but still fighting hard, trying to play his hockey every single shift...

Not sure, while nobody really does understand Detroit locker room. Me personally? Yes, I believe he´s not going to bloom in Detroit for what he´s expected to be, sound to me like he´s really dissappointed in long-term with his role in Wings.
