Well folks, just a little longer before the tip-off of game 2. Hopefully the Pistons will pull out victorious this one. I'll admit..I'm a bit nervous this game..so... LET'S GO PISTONS!!
-
Tonight's the first game of the series, and hopefully I'll be able to stay up for all of it(or at least most of it). You know the Spurs will be ready to go, after having like a week off? Hopefully the Pistons will come out strong and play good and smart basketball. LET'S GO PISTONS!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone know whether or not Wade will be playing tonight, or will he be a game-time decision? If anyone knows, please post. Thanks!
-
Well, the game is tonight and I'm just hoping for the Pistons to come out and play strong good basketball. Win, and then go onto the finals and face the Spurs!!!!!! LET'S GO PISTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha, JohnO I noticed that as well. Pretty funny stuff if you ask me. Anyhow, I was able to catch about the last quarter of the game last night, and I was impressed by the Pistons' play, although I seen little of it. From what I heard, they played solid throughout the entire game, which is good. Hopefully they can come out fired out for game 7, and the refs won't be so bad... LET'S GO PISTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, tonight is a must-win for the Pistons, however I believe they will be able to do it. The Pistons are going to come out very fired up and ready to play. The only bad thing is, I am working until 10, so I might only catch a little bit of the game. If I can't even do that, I'll just watch Sports Center for highlights.... LET'S GO PISTONS!!!!!!! DESTROY THE HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, congrats to the Pistons on advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals!! I thought the Pistons were actually going to lose last night, but I'm glad they just got the job done in Indiana. Now, they need to be ready for their next challange; the Miami Heat. IMO, it's going to go to 7 games and honestly, I feel the Heat can take the Pistons. I sure hope I'm wrong, that's just my feeling right now, though. You know the Heat have had quite a few days off waiting to see who they are going to play, so they are going to be well-rested and ready to go. I believe that Shaq will also be more rested, which will be tough on the Pistons. I am still hoping the Pistons can go to the Finals, there's plenty of basketball to still be played. LET'S GO PISTONS!!!!

Well, it looks as if 'Sheeds "guarantee" came through again. Last year he guaranteed a victory, as well he did this year. The Pistons now cannot go back to Detroit thinking because they are back at the Palace, they can win this series, however, they do have the momentum, IMO. Way to go, Pistons! It looks like my prediction was wrong, I thought they would take 'em in 5...oh well. Go Pistons!

Well, I must say I'm pretty happy with the Pistons' performance right now. However, I am not going to get my hopes up seeing as the outcome of the past two games. I'm just going to cross my fingers and hope they continue to play like they have been so far this game. GO PISTONS!

Did anyone watch that game last night? I did, and I thought it had a great finish to it. The entire series has been quite interesting to watch. I'm hoping that Boston can defeat them in game 7 because I feel we'd match up better to them than the Pacers, and also the Celtics are a very less phsyical team. I will try and watch as much of game 7 as I can on Saturday, because I'll be working...if I can't see any of it, I'm just going to root for the Celtics and then have to check ESPN or the papers... Also, did anyone see who won the Dallas-Houston game last night? I'm glad the Pistons won in 5 games..that gave Tashaun more time to rest, along with the entire roster in general, so when they play either Indiana or Boston, they will be well-rested and ready to go!

Very well said, Cruiser!

Real quick: I was watching the Heat/Nets game today and it seemed like the Nets really started to mount a comeback, however, I didn't see the entire game. So, did Nets actually end up winning one? Or did they get swept? Thanks!
-
I'm glad that the Pistons won. I am truely impressed with Tayshaun. You could see him limping for quite a while, but yet, he still continued the playoffs. And I know some of you will give me grief and say "But that's his job - he gets paid to do that" and I know that, but he looked to be in somewhat of a lot of pain. So, hats off to him for staying him for a while. The Pistons mounted a pretty nice comeback to send it to OT. Glad to see they came out on top. Let's hope they can wrap it in Detroit! Oh, and one more note: Rasheed was very impressive in the OT!! He nailed some important 3-pointers. Keep it up! Way to go, Pistons

I wouldn't panic. In fact, I'm not surprised we lost this one, although we did have a pretty good 1st half. I look for the Pistons to really take control and put a stamp on the series with a win in Philly in game 4. Like I said right before the series started - my prediction is 4-1, Pistons win. Get 'em next time, Pistons!
-
Just curious, Heaton -- are you correcting me or SWF?
-
I'm glad to see the Pistons are up 2-0 in the series. I don't think they'll get the sweep, but if so, that'd be great too. Anyway, I heard on the radio this morning that a fan was arrested last night for throwing a dime or something at AI. What a stupid thing to do, seriously. IMO, that just gives more of a bad name for Detroit fans. Makes you wonder...will Detroit fans ever learn to stop with their nonsence?

Not a whole lot to say for me. I'm not totally counting out the Sixers just yet, but I feel quite confident in the Pistons defeating them. I'm predicting 4-1. As for all this talk about the Heat-Nets series...IMO, the Heat will take it to them. The Nets are going to have Jefferson back, but who knows how effective he'll be considering he won't be 100%...
