Nothing official yet. Played 2 games of his 25 game tryout with the Binghampton Sens, was released and underwent knee surgery. He's probably done.

I agree today's players are wayyyy too coddled, and obv overpaid. Players sit due to bruises. Bruises are a daily thing in some jobs. Howe and Lindsay would have beat the s*** out of this whole team by now, one by one, if they were doing this back in their day.

It's funny seeing people post jokes about Bryzgalov on here now, but a few years ago when he was playing out of his mind in a 7 game first round series against the Wings, guaranteed some of those same people were saying "OMG Bryz is too good..we just might lose this series", etc, etc, etc.....

Why would'nt he go to Florida? He's won a cup, been to the finals three times, already made millions..go to Florida and relax. Media is'nt always in your face, team is'nt the disaster they once were, fans not expecting cups yearly..retire in a few years...live the good life. Not everyone wants to coach as long as Bowman did.

Wild Card spot. 2-3-0 record. And that's being hopeful right now. I honestly still had faith going into tonight, but that collapse finished most of it off. Was just unreal to see. -
I don't think many thought he was the "savior". This team's problems are much deeper than goaltending. Carey Price could'nt save this team right now with all the dumb penalties, mistakes, breakdowns, and general laziness we've seen for the last month. But I do think Mrazek will eventually be a much better goaltender than Howard ever was as he continues to develop.

True enough. Even if he can't walk he can still sit on LTIR and collect his millions. Least his $6+ million cap hit (even when he's only earning $1 million in his final two years) won't count if he does though. -

I dunno, but i'm pretty sure he won't play out the rest of his contract. I think some people simply forget his age and injury history. He was a rookie in 2002, cup win was in 2008. That's awhile ago now. Far from the same player. He had a good run. -

Ya, it blows, but i'm so used to it now it's hard not to find some humour in it at the very least. When this team sucks, they really suck. Its unbelievable how quickly that 2 goal lead just dissapeared.
