Of course the Wings are the team the Coyotes end their 8 game losing streak against. I now see that Cole left the game with an upper body injury and Kronwall did'nt play due to a lower body injury. Just great. Just watched the OT goal. Essensa could have stopped that with his eyes closed.

So is Cole injured or something? I see him listed at just over 5 min of ice time. Why did'nt Kronwall play?

Who knows. I think Babs has given up on Weiss too quickly, but it does'nt look like that will change. May as well move him in the offseason so he can try and get his career back on track, especially if Babs stays.

It's Leaf fans. They'll be back. I'm sure some season ticket holders just temporarily "misplaced" their tickets until the start of next season when they gear up for their annual cup run.

I know they could be called back out. Just meant how often do you see that happen? If the coach knows they got away with something, it's good to get to the dressing room and take the chance rather than sit there.

Did Babs clear the bench after the goal went in? Seen him do that on possible questionable OT goals before. It's a smart move. Celebrate then hit the dressing room. Goals won't be called back after that. "Ummm guys, I know your skates are already off and fans are leaving, but you have to come back out and finish the game, the goal did'nt count". Never happen.

North Bay finally got a team back this season with the Battalion's move from Brampton, so it's nice to have that close rivalry again, although they owned us (Sudbury) this season, but were entering a rebuild, again.

Never thought of this before, but Babs spent his entire coaching career in the West, up until last season. Maybe he's still adjusting to coaching games against so many East teams?
