We all know Jimmy has it in him. Just look at the NYR game. He played out of his mind. Consistancy is his problem.

After seeing the replay of the Oilers goal, that should have been whistled. He was relaxed in the crease with the puck covered waiting for it from the angle they showed.

Starting to look better, but Babs better rip them a new one in this intermission. Unacceptable play.

Did'nt say Gus would fix our goaltending issues. He's part of the problem along with Howard. I'm hoping Mrazek can give some stability right now, but he's still got a ways to go before he leads this team into the playoffs and steals a series imo. Dudes still learning.

Hey, even if you don't like the guy, saying it's good that anyone on the team is hurt is pretty s***ty. I don't like Franzen, and i'm glad he is'nt playing, but I'm not happy he's hurt.

Just like our $5 million dollar starter is prone to. Like it or not, this team has goaltending issues, and Mrazek won't be the magic fix.

Mrazek is def not our savior. He's been called up because our backup goaltender is injured. We don't even know the nature of Gus injury. He could be out a week, or out for the season. The length of time Mrazek will be in Detroit will most likely depend on that. Either way, it's nice to have a good goalie with NHL experience to call up. Did'nt see the game today, but saw some highlights. Gus did'nt look too good, but the team can't be giving up shorthanded breakaways to the opposition either. Tighten up the screws.

I can see that. Gets too complacent, then when the shots come, hes scrambling. That was the turning point for sure. I dunno what the hell he was doing that far out. Then no one could get in front of the shot to bail him out, even though there were two guys right there.

Yep. Some games you can see he has the potential to be an elite goalie in this league, then a stinker like this right after. Sure is frustrating to watch. Not much can be done though I guess. He's our #1 heading into the playoffs.
