True enough, but everyone sucks when they get to Toronto at some point or another. lol I dunno, just feel more confident with Gus in net. He def deserves to start against SJ after his performance last night anyways. They need to show good play is rewarded. That the #1 spot isn't just given to you because of how much money you make or how long you've been with the team. Just like when Mrazek got the start when Jimmy and Gus were both good to go. Babs felt he deserved it.

Pretty sure Gus will get the playoff starts before Mrazek will. Either way, I agree Howard needs to perform in the playoffs. Thats what hes paid that kinda money for. He can't be outplayed by rookie 'tenders like Gibson.

Same. But you know Jimmy will get the start. I'll be VERY surprised if he doesn't. I want Jimmy to do well, just like many of us do. Nothing against him whatsoever, but I think Gus could push him out of the #1 spot if given the chance.

Yeah. It might light a fire under Holland's ass if he'll be out awhile. Either way, something needs to be done. Only a few days till the deadline. I know we won't get a top defenceman, just needed reinforcement if anything.

Kind of like Osgood in 2009. Very shaky regular season, but when the playoffs came it was like he just flipped a switch. He sure shut a lot of people up.

I def feel more confident with Gus in net as well, which is why i'd like the team to resign him. But unfortunately, he will be moving on. Mrazek's time has come. How bout trading Jimmy and have a Gus/Mrazek tandem? jk.

Quincey has been great this year. We need to add to the defence without losing him. All his injury does is set us back, even with a trade. Heres to a speedy recovery Q! If he can avoid the surgery without being a liability, then thats great. If not, have the surgery and come back in time for the playoffs give or take.

The second goal Howard let in in the shootout was just plain embarrassing. He got burnt high to the glove side, looked like he did'nt even try to stop it. He's been hitting alot of iron. Has goalies beat, but just does'nt place it exactly right.
