He can have Cleary's spot.

Voteded it. Great show by Nyquist. Yes they seem to be.

Yeah, I guess so. His back issues were a big problem, but the Moore incident changed how he played. It had to have. In Vancouver, he was a top power forward in the league, could control games by himself, had a mean streak and would hit anything that he could.. After that happened, he did'nt play that intense style anymore, it was like he was afraid to hurt someone again. It did take awhile for him to hit his peak as well, your right on that. Glad to see he did get his tryout. I think he'll crack the Sens lineup at some point.

Yeah, Legace really s*** the bed in that series now that I think back to it. Some of the goals he let in were downright embarrassing. Funny thing is he was offered a multi-year deal for damn good money by Holland during the regular season, but did'nt want to sign until after the season to see if he could get a better offer elsewhere, therefore making Holland offer him even more money to stay. That strategy did'nt work out very well for him. lol

Anyone think Bert may have had a HOF worthy career if the Moore thing never happened? He had at least 50 points in each season he played at least 60 games prior to being traded to Florida, his highest being 97. besides his three seasons with NYI early in his career before he hit his peak. If he had continued that point pace, I think it's possible.

Well, Osgood has better career stats than both Billy Smith and Grant Fuhr. Yes, different era there, but his stats are comparable to Ed Belfour's as well. Guess there will always be debate.
-
LOLLLL Yep. He was already stood up and relaxed. Whistle went, shot went in because he was'nt even looking at it. lol

Cool, be nice to see what Pulks can do. Franzen can stay on IR for the season for all I care. I dunno why he even bothers coming to the rink anyways. Its just such a piss off because we all know what hes capable of in "Mule" mode, but he refuses to play that way, and of he does, its never for long.

As do I. I believe he will. Excellent stats up there with some of the goalies who were considered the elite at the time NO MATTER WHERE HE PLAYED, 3 cups(yes, one as backup). For some reason, people don't see that, and just brush him off at some half ass goalie who only won cups because of the team in front of him. Look at his stats in Long Island and St. Louis. They are on par with his Detroit years. He was actually a main reason NYI went from sucking to making the playoffs in his first season there. He is HOF worthy easily. I remember when he was ditched by St.Louis for Lalime(whoever was their GM at the time said he was an upgrade lol) and the Wings resigned him, but no one really expected much because our savior Manny Legace was here. lol Oz was asked to learn to change his goaltending style to keep up with how the league was changing, and it worked. Very, very well.

What happened to Ramo? Some kind of collision with Miller? I went to go do something and missed the play.

Being from his hometown, I was really happy when the Wings signed him. The Moore incident changed him though, it's too bad we never got the beast of a player he was in Vancouver. Best of luck Bert!! And yeah, i'd take him over Cleary right now easily. lol Saw him at a beer store one summer here in Sudbury. Never talked to him though,as he was on his way out the door. Guy is massive. lol
