  1. Absolutely. Only two of them became elite players though, and one of them is in NJ now.
  2. 31st guarantees no worse than 4th overall though...
  3. He is the more tank quality option.
  4. Once Nyquist completely missed his mark across the ice, that was it. One too many, boys.
  5. Pass, pass, pass, pass, waste time...SHOOT THE PUCK, IT MIGHT GO IN!
  6. Always been an Ozzie fan, even when he was bashed and written off. Came back with two of the greatest playoff goaltending performances of all time in '08 and '09. Legend.
  7. Yes, but once in awhile it's nice to have your goalie steal one too.
  8. This is true, he's made some great stops, but that last goal was WEAK.
  9. HAHAHAHA Bernier. You never fail me in the LOL dept.
  10. None of those Canucks seem to want to throw em with E. lol
  11. That Petterson kid is everywhere. Was looking at his numbers compared to the rest of the top ten in his draft year, he appears to be a steal at 5th overall. Only Hischier is close.
  12. Oh just get in the net Bernier. lol
  13. Man my feed is a bit behind, I JUST saw the goal. haha NM, fixed it.
  14. I remember Leivo from his days in the OHL with Sudbury. Thought he was still with the Leafs. He didn't turn out to be the player i thought he would be.
  15. That little tussle was mic'd up. Do that more often.
  16. No neck protection..smart Markstrom. Lucky that didn't end up worse, freak accident there. Nielson is quite the playmaker.
  17. Can always count on Helm to kill pressure like that. lol
  18. He was a great goalie. The cause of a few playoff disappointments. but chasing him in Game 7 of the WCF in '02 was great payback. Can't forget his statue of liberty move in Game 6 either..so sweet. Bernier almost got roasted there...s*** that Petterson kid is FAST.
  19. Agreed. Goalies used to be a different breed. Hextall, Potvin, Roy, Belfour...all unpredictable and prone to losing their s*** and throwing punches or chopping legs with their stick if you got too close.
  20. Alex Auld, the goaltending authority, lol
  21. That and i also miss the style each goalie had. From playing style to equipment style, many were different. Nowadays they often play the same and wear the same gear. Back then they used different masks depending on what worked for them, now i think the helmet/cage combo can't be used anymore in the NHL. They wore pads that were just above the knee, not just below the waist, etc. Burn Yay.
