Bad omen... -
Bahahaha Another D man Kenny finally traded, now wants him back? Think Kenny, THINK!!

Pretty much. With the major stink about Mrazek's attitude and work ethic already, Yak's attitude and work ethic would Only make things worse. He's always been one dimensional anyways, and he has problem scoring goals at the NHL level. Blues can keep him.
-
And thank ******* hell for that!

Too bad the Wings didn't give them permission to speak to Blashill. They'd probably give em a low 2018 pick to never bring it up again.
-
Kronwall has enough veteran status for the whole D corps already. This is true. Sadly, VERY true.
-
If he's willing to return for a couple years at a reasonable salary, hell yes! Watching his shootout goals alone were worth it last season. Reminded me of another guy who was only here for one season eight years ago. Should really try to hang on to those types when they come along...

That's probably one of the weirdest, most far out there names to guess. Haha

Tapatalk works fine. I find since I got an IPhone, the web version of some forums work slow as f*** or freeze up. Had no problems with my Blackberrys.

Petruzelli seems to be the Wings best pick if you read all the tons of media reactions out there. They're second pick, who's name I forget, supposedly had a few GMs on the edge of their seat waiting to pounce if Detroit passed on him, and told the staff congrats on it. Rasmussen seems to have more questions than anything for a 9th overall, especially with other players other teams wanted if they had picked that high still on the board and would have passed on Ras. But whatever, it's done. Hopefully he can make an impact and stay healthy as a big man in the NHL. Hopefully he can lug that big frame around with good speed, like Pronger could. Then again, he's no Pronger.

Wonder if as Ras moves along in his career he'll end up as slow as Hatcher and other huge guys? Get a few good years, then he starts having problems. He's huge for his age, which is not always good for longetivity. Could start having bad knees and other things faster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Artemi Panarin to Blue Jackets for Brandon Saad

The guy has been a big useless pylon for years now. It seems to you that every player on the roster is good or ok besides Mrazek, and most of Kennys contracts are reasonable and it's not his fault he offered them years ago and guys have regressed since, some the very next season. It's good to try to be positive, but take off the blinders. E being a good deal at $2 million less ( even that's too much) doesn't change things. Maybe he should have been signed to that deal before. Yeah, McKee was a long shot. Would have been cool to see him get in some games, but he seemed more inclined to be a maniacal goon instead of improving his actual hockey skills. He'd probably be kicked out of the league by now anyways. Watching that guys fights, he's relentless and you can see the pleasure he takes in beating the s*** out of people. Probably one of those guys who would be in jail for that if he didn't get to take his aggressions out on the ice. Man thanks sticks up for himself, and E will fight, but with his size he should be laying out guys like Kronwall used to. Players should fear a guy that size in their way, but they can usually just skate by him, or know he won't do much. Abby is a pest, but he used to do more than that. Not that he won a lot of fights, but he'd fight anyways. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bertuzzi needs to step it up this season and bring some of that style to the big team. In his minimal games last year, he did not look confident, and no one was the least bit concerned with nailing him good it seems. Bring your nuts with you this time Bert. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree. Love the idea of a huge forward on the team, but it kinda worries me. Every time the Wings draft size, they either don't make the team (McKee), or end up neutered when they get to Detroit. There already big guys on the roster (Mantha, Sheahan, Errorsson, Abby, Franzen at one point) and most of them play a foot smaller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Little Gus was good for awhile. Too bad he's too scared of getting hit now to do much good. I could stand on the ice in my socks and no gear and shove that little s*** ten feet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk And maybe the new big kid can stand there, but can he get his stick on pucks as precise as Holmer could to redirect them? Compare the two all you want, Holmer was the king of net front play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You really think us anti-Holland types would go shoot some people because our GM sucks? It's only hockey. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
