Craig. Anderson. Remember when he was a run of the mill backup? So underrated! He was a beast in his early days in Calgary. Toronto killed his career.
-
YESSSS!! What a game! That's how you rebound at home! Game 7!!

$6 million in open cap currently. Tatar and AA need extensions, but Tatar can be traded for picks. Sheahan drew interest at the deadline, he can be moved for picks too. Stock up on them. Sign Shattenkirk for $7 million per.
-
Yeah Holland is probably thinking of an extension for him. I hope he ditches him for a first though. No more Green, he hasn't worked out and will be overpaid as well. Caps underachieved as a whole though. Especially their Vezina winning goalie who is a finalist for it again this year. Just horrible play.

Hahaha. They still prescribe s*** like that easy down there? Up here it's pretty rare, you need to be in excruciating pain and have a cool doctor. Some docs won't give anything more than ibuprofen after the oxy epidemic that got s***loads addicted.
-
The 2009 loss was on the Wings. 2 wins from another repeat and they blew it, plain and simple. Coming out flat in Game 7 was the icing on it.
-
Oh yeah, I forgot Tayes. What about Gordie and Gretzky though? Already left them behind after his first Cup?
-
Ahh ok. Yeah I avoid em too. And emergency. Unless it's something really serious. Anything less I suffer or medicate myself.
-
I dunno, Perry is a ******, but I've got less hate for the Ducks than I did ten years ago. I think they would have given the Pens a tougher time physically, which is great. But..no Gibson, no Cup. So perhaps it is better off.
-
Agreed. Maybe if he didn't sign Nielson it could work. Least Green is done after this coming season. Yeah he's def not worth $7 million and above for 5-6 years. Kenny will probably do it though. It's his perfect move. Easy.

Tell that to all the overprotective parents who bring their kids there every time they have a fever.
-
Haha mannn. I'd lose it. Or bring them a whole bottle back instead.

Was thinking about this the other day. The '97, '98 and '02 Cups were bloody hell battles in the West, especially with the Avs rivalry on full bore. The Wings had some TOUGH players in those days, not like today where if a guy stubs his toe on the hot tub he's day to day. The Pens, if they repeat, haven't faced anything compared. Crosby can win 5 in a row and he can't touch Stevie for being a true warrior captain. Win one on one leg first actually.
-
I agree he's been top 5 for awhile now. Guess he can't stop everything. Same with Price. Both Nashville and Montreal are built from the net out (although Rinne has a much better D to help him, which is probably why Nashville is in the Finals and the Habs are long gone). Both are counted on a lot, probably too much.

2 tickets for Game 6 of the ECF, behind the net at the glass, for $800 CDN on Ticketbastard. Christ that's cheap. I remember paying the same for 4 tickets in the nosebleeds at the ACC for a regular season Leafs/Wings game. Nosebleeds for Game 6 are $99, and that's resale price. Tons of tickets still floating around out there for tomorrow night. How can your city's NHL team be 6 wins from their first Cup since the Super Six era , and there's unclaimed seats? Oh well, better for me. Hopefully the Sens get to the Finals so I can go for a couple games.
-
Well I'm hoping the Sens make the Finals and win. THey should come out hard at home tomorrow after a 7-0 loss. Plus I want to get Finals tickets for Games 1 and 2 haha
-
Noooo.

Karlsson, Ceci, and Brassard are all confirmed for Game 6. Maybe they were just rested after Game 5 got away, or they have injuries they'll play through with elimination on the line. Do or die! Beat em down!!
-
$3000 for tests and 15 cents worth of Aspirin? That's insanity.
-
Kesler.
-
Agreed. Would be funny to see the Habs and Leafs fans faces if Karlsson were to raise the Cup in Canada for the first time in a quarter century. And it would be cooler than the Preds and especially the Pens winning it. Seems even, yes. I just wanted the Pens to get knocked on their asses. The Ducks have always been dirty, and the Pens deserve a dirty opponent. Hopefully none of the injured Pens D return.
-
This season/playoffs, yes. He's always been good, but never quite good enough when the playoffs rolled around.
-
This does not bode well. Ottawa needs to step it up. Pens get past them, they'll find a way to get four more wins. Really wanted to see the Ducks punish them physically. Oh well.
-
Bernier you f***in sieve! Figured they wouldn't survive an injury to Gibson. I guess if he's out for any significant time, the Ducks should pack it in anyway. Bernier won't win them a Cup. Really? LOL!

The Pens winning the Finals after being down 2-0 was a kick in the balls of great proportions. The whole hockey world just KNEW the Wings were going to repeat. But, after the first two games, things changed. They should have been playing lights out, skate to the throat hockey, but they let the Pens back in it and take it to 7, where the Wings ( and crowd somewhat even) came out flatter than I'd seen in 15 years for a Game 7, AT JLA, one win away from a fifth Cup and a second repeat in just over ten years. Let the Pens get ahead on goals by Pascal ******* Dupuis, and never caught up. Was pretty sickening. The NHL and Uncle Gary may have tried to help sway things the Pens way, but it shouldn't have been a factor, like it wasn't the previous season. Detroit just ran outta gas.
