At times, I thought I'm watching pair figure skating: Semin - Ovechkin, Malkin - Gonchar, Kovalchuk - Afinogenov, and nobody else around them never ever existed. This was anything but a team... Bunch of over-hyped very skilled individuals with no real use. At other times it looked very much like circus, Bears on The Ice. Malkin was hilarious falling left and right all night long... And their tamer Bykov looked very much dumb too with his choice of PP units... Congrats to Slovak team! A well deserved win.
