I keep seeing comments about the "kick" goal and the dive. The Kick: I'm no expert here but, as someone that knows about soccer, the movement he makes with his feet pivoting with the ankles looks like when you try to lift the ball with just the tip of both feet. He looked like trying to control the bounce off the shins. The Dive: Nyquist was hooked, no doubt about it, but what I see is Gus going low, protecting the puck and losing his step due to his left hand pulled back on to his knee and not being able to make the next stride. But whatever, that's how hockey is. Just like Abby pushing the goalie into the net and the goal was still allowed. Some you win some you lose but watching them play like that against one of the top teams in the league gives us confidence for what's to come

Great win tonight, Howard making a stance and gave us a chance to take those 2 points. That goal line save was Amazing. Love to see the speed that AA brings to the game, him teaming up with Larkin, Tatar and Nyquist gave us 2 goals. the latter being a definite highlight reel clip. Helm robbing that puck and having a great chance. Had it not being Niemi that game ends in regulation. It was as good of a game, it even brought the fanboy out of some... Next stop Chicago, Toews, Kane, Panarin. Would love to have Petr back by then, if not, a definite trial by fire to either JImmy or Coreau.
