Before the game started I did not want to jinx Howie so I did not write my feelings about this game with Howie in goals. I told my wife that Howie would probably allow the tying goal late in the game if we were leading by a goal. Unfortunately it happened and Howie was terrible in the OT. I put this lost on Blash for not sticking with Mrazek! For some reason Howie seems less alert nearing the end of a game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Not surprised... The last 6-5 minutes of the game. Even if he played great, Howie has to stop the tying goal, that's his job and most of the time he fails. As I have said before, I rather have Mrazek in goals win or lose. He is the future and younger and faster. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I unfortunately call this tying goal as soon as Miller skated into our zone. I just had the feeling that the Wings have a knack of allowing a tying goal in the last few minutes of the game. You are right on! I don't another goalie who gives up so many goals in the last few minutes of a period or the game and many of them tying goals like tonight and Wednesday against Ottawa. I call him a 3goal goalie. He needs to play for a high scoring team as I think he is a fairly good goalie but not for a 1-2 goal team like Detroit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

As I have said somewhere, I rather win and lose with Mrazek in goals. Howie is older and therefore is tired and slower at the end of the game resulting in letting in the tying goal. He is a very good goalie and would be great with a scoring team... He is lost with a 1-2 goal team like the Wings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
